  1. What I don’t get is that if the o&d’s test has to be resubmitted every year for approval from the PL for every club, how do Man City pass it? That’s about as state owned as it gets.
  2. It’s a weekly cycle. Some are more than happy to buy into the positivity and baseless rumours early in the week but then inevitably the weekend comes and all the things those oddballs on Twitter said didn’t come true leaving a lot of pissed off forum members with an equal amount of people who are happy to troll them. This has been going on for well over a year so we should be used to it by now.
  3. All known bullshitters. It’s only been 2 weeks since the PL submitted all that evidence for the judge to mull over. There will be a mountain of paperwork, all designed to delay even if they do get knocked back. My initial guess was a month, but it really could be any amount of time, maybe the cunt is on holiday? Nobody has any idea. The wheels of justice are beating to their own drum, they care nothing for summer plans or transfer windows. All the usual nob jockey journos are pretty quiet at the minute so I’d imagine not much is happening, or at least the PL have nothing to say.
  4. Quite odd really how it’s playing out with Palace, Spurs and Everton. All that instability and indecisiveness will cost them. Also just goes to show how having a management team that knows what they’re doing is a rare thing in football. Everton in particular are bonkers if they don’t take Rafa, seeming as he’s willing to go.
  5. Takeover stress. His mind has snapped and he thinks he’s being attacked by invisible enemies in Mexico kits.
  6. No, there’s rumours the Reubens are involved but there’s zero evidence to support this. I think they are just an up and coming brand who have given favourable terms for running the club shop and supplying the kit. There’s nothing sinister to it.
  7. Is the size of the sponsor logo set in stone or is there a minimum size and then at discretion of the shirt designer?
  8. The black third kit is lovely if that really is it. Also could live with that home shirt too. I’d be cautious to pick one up if we do end up with a takeover, Fun88 ain’t gonna last too long
  9. I heard from someone ages ago and I did mention on here that the consortium, if back at the table would be minus Staveley.
  10. Yes fingers crossed! This decision will be the single biggest thing to happen in terms of this happening or not. The point is, even if the CAT case takes longer to start, the PL will not want any of this playing out in public. Even if they drag their feet and stick to their guns regarding the takeover, this CAT case will damage them more than any fallout from allowing Saudi to take control of nufc. Even if PIF walked away, Mike Ashley is in this now and would see it through regardless. So either way the PL will lose out. So they will have to settle. The other alternative is too grim to think about so let’s just cross that bridge if we come to it.
  11. Italian rights are not relevant at all. There was a whole fallout between them and BeIn over organised friendlies in KSA last season. Saudi bidding is just opportunism.

I see he’s arrived in for pre season 2 1/2 weeks early to put the work in. Such a good attitude this kid, never any bullshit away from football and in my opinion is making good on the potential now after a shaky start. I think he’ll continue at right back and make himself one of the first names on the team sheet before he begins to start playing further up. He knows he can do it here now.
  13. I’m more interested in what’s happening with that ladies crotch.. zebra toe?
  14. You’re missing the point, the PL will not want years of evidence coming into the public domain through CAT. Everything is resting on the jurisdiction claim. The arbitration is not winnable in my honest opinion.
  15. They (Spurs) seem to have fucked about a couple of managers now. You’d have to wonder at this point will they start to fuck Spurs about. Start negotiations and then publicly pull out of negotiations etc.. the world and it’s dog knows at this point that they are losing their best players and can’t afford to bring anything in. Who would want that gig apart from the usual charlatan journeymen?
  16. This is where we are. Arbitration has not yet started. Both sides have submitted evidence and would assume both sides will have a team of legal analysts looking through this to provide their QC’s when it actually comes to the court part of things. On the CAT side, the judge is currently considering the PL’s challenge to it’s jurisdiction in the case. He’s had it a week so far, nobody will know how long it could take, hopefully just a few weeks but that’s probably going to be the next thing that happens and we will hear about it once a decision is made. Like I said before, we lose this decision then it’s dead in the water.. all of it. If we win I believe the PL will settle, they will not want any info out in the public domain.
  17. Even just so I don’t have to ever see his smarmy face when it comes to anything to do with our club.
  18. Me neither. He literally quit a job 3 weeks into it because of a lack of transfer budget. Spurs are skint like, that was Mourinho’s remit when he took over. Promote youth in to complement the senior players because the new stadium has crippled them.
  19. I heard a rumour today, not directly takeover related but to us it is I guess. Richard Masters may be stepping down soon, to do with things about the Super League coming out.
  20. There’s no way to dress this up, it’s a knife in the back called hope. (not by Rafa btw, just the situation) We want the takeover and many of us wanted the takeover with Rafa so he could build something, something we all would have bought into. I’m jealous of Everton, I really am. And come on, anyone saying now that they don’t care he’s not coming back here is lying to themselves as much as anyone else. The man is a perfect fit for this club and the region. It’s not linked to the takeover at all though. It’s just a timing thing, one that again is against us. So small positives and all that but this one has definitely knocked the wind from my sails in terms of expectations. I don’t really know where we’re at at this point in time.
  21. I mean, Rafa isn’t going to have any inside track. The consortium are waiting on Mike Ashley’s cases before they come back in. In the meantime what’s he supposed to do? Wait around for something that may never happen? I’m bitterly disappointed, why wouldn’t we be? But it doesn’t mean the takeover will never happen, just that he’s not going to pass up an opportunity where he knows he’ll be backed and will also have a new stadium coming soon. It’s a no brainer really.
  22. Matt Ritchie having an extended run in the team went a long way to us staying up imho, sure Willocks goals were the obvious thing but Ritchie played his part in some of those too. He’s one of the few leaders in the dressing room that the club has. We’d be mad to let him leave without replacing those certain qualities. (even if it’s a different position)
  23. You’d have to wonder what Spurs objectives are now. How long would a stadium like that take to pay off? They can’t afford to have another crack at the top 4 for a while I’d imagine ?‍♂️
  24. A production company will be responsible for the camera work, it’ll be fed to all the broadcasters, but BBC could have cut to their studio or anywhere else at any point so they are fully responsible for that being broadcast. They’ve broken Ofcom’s rules by showing it so they’re going to get hammered, and rightfully so.
