First point for Alnwick back in the Northern League today, gave away all three at the death with a badly defended set piece, a bit of an Achilles Heel for them at the minute. One point from three games but I'm still hopeful they'll settle and be ok.

I'm sure it was usually her or Tyler Dodds playing RW last season until Lumsden arrived. LW was almost exclusively KB9, was it not? Maybe I'm misremembering. Elson looks to be able to play pretty much anywhere in the front but I remember her being used most on the right wing.

Absolutely fucking appalling decision. They appear to have offside sorted with a quick and almost automated system, they've already got something which tells you whether the ball was over the line or not. Rest of the tech should be fucked off now imo.

Middle is where they were already strongest imo. Whether it's enough for the step up is another matter but our midfield won us the league.

Left with Alnwick 1-3 up, not sure what ft was. Was talking to a lad there who says Shields are going through a considerable rebuilding but I was really impressed with how Alnwick played.
