  1. Fairly comfortable for Alnwick at Daahhlo Town today despite a couple of late goals for the hosts. Easily the worst Northern League ground I've ever been to

    Yeah gets a bit easier when you start to know the 15 and under players 🏌️‍♀️Goalf🏌️‍♂️ 🗓️ 18/10/2025 🗓️ 🎯 Par 4 - 456 Yards ⛳️ Shot 1 - 2️⃣6️⃣0️⃣ Shot 2 - 1️⃣8️⃣8️⃣ Shot 3 - 8️⃣ 🎉 Score: (-1) Birdie ⏰ 18 seconds https://goalf.app
  3. Like I say, I'm pretty much in agreement as you probably know and I don't blame fans one bit for reacting as they have through the entire saga (I reacted the same way as most of us). Just remembering that there was some "let's keep our heads and not be too down on him as a fanbase and see what happens" chatter at the time, not agreeing with it
  4. There was plenty of talk about the bedsheet outside the training ground not being a helpful development when it was tacked up there, like. Liverpool completely planned to get He Wants A Move into fans' heads hoping they would turn on him and make their acquisition easier imo. I'm not blaming the fans one bit (you know my take on it) and I personally don't think there was a way for us to hold onto him short of just saying "nah you're not going kid, grow up" but I'm guessing that's what LFEE is getting at.
  5. I'm not sure we could have kept him under any circumstances, but I agree that Liverpool definitely designed rattling the fans into despising him and making sure there was no way back before any decision was made IMO, and it was pretty successful.
  6. This is bang on I might be misremembering but I don't recall a mad scramble for his signature; is it not more the case that nobody else wanted the cunt when we took a chance on him? He wasn't sold fuck all, surely, but was offered a chance to shine in a pretty unique situation. Three years down the line I would have said he owed NUFC considerably more than NUFC owed him, the invincibly stupid and bewilderingly short sighted cock end that he is
  7. People park on the grass at the square of houses behind the ground, but they'll definitely charge you to get in like
  8. Not even joking, although I didn't include the sheep in the picture
  9. Wallington are always up for it like literally just a field but it was one of my favourite places to go in the Alliance, essence of non league to see somebody hop a fence into the sheep enclosure to get the ball back
  10. Home side one down in 90 seconds. Setup is good, standard is not so good. Smell of Vicks is intense
  11. I will report back. game looks to be on but it's pretty blowy up here, which always leads to a very high quality non league game as the thread will be aware
  12. Pottsy hooked at half time? welcome to the big leagues kidda Planning to get to my first Highland League game tonight, Strathspey Thistle vs Forres. Will be an experience no doubt
  13. It's their version of forcing new players to nod solemnly at a video of a lad in his 90s who is from Newcastle and has as a result supported Newcastle for a lot of years, then say they understand it's a special club they've come to
  14. Imposter Syndrome now settling like a wet and stinking Champions League 04/05 shirt on Slot's shoulders The only bit he's getting right is the insufferable arrogance; the only bit which didn't appear to come naturally to him before he turned up at libpewl, and the one bit he really doesn't deserve
  15. genuinely pathetic tongue up hoop grimness that like
  16. There should be an option in 2025 to just have 70s style coverage with no possession stats or indeed any information on the screen other than block capital full team names at the top next to the scores, and excitable commentators who have never played the game themselves and who are not having to sit next to people like Danny Murphy
  17. I have no idea, I'm just watching rtg as well as here and the bbc for the schadenfreude
