  1. "We're a member of the EPL and contribute as well, they were not acting in our interests" I reckon
  2. Your own 'we're' substitution at the start, and 'they were' for 'there where' i reckon
  3. Who gives a fuck most fans will be glad we’ve been shafted, however no one can tell me they wouldn’t be gutted if this had happened to their club. Luckily where a big enough club to fight our own battles, and for the first time in a number of years I’m proud of our support for uniting and fighting this. Exactly. Sick of being the nation's favourite underachieving alsorans and couldn't give a fuck what anybody else thinks about how we're approaching this.
  4. Should make a difference, like. It was up around 78k as I was leaving for work this morning.
  5. I would judge them a fuckton more harshly if they admitted that another PL club had any bearing on what's happened (or not happened)
  6. Would love the focus to be how it can possibly be right for member clubs to have a say in the running of other member clubs. Absolutely fucking disgraceful.

The passive approach is not really working out great for them though, is it?
  8. I reckon they could, but it's pretty clear they don't want anything like a controlling share (and who could blame them tbh)
  9. Maybe they just have the best visions when bankrolled by the richest people on planet earth though
  10. The Russians are good at that sort of thing apparently, only ever use it to make impressionable folk vote for stuff though
  11. Mojo's bang on that they could clear this up themselves fairly simply like, although I suspect the PL are just too scared to say that Saudi Arabia walked away because they weren't going to pass the test, despite that being the most likely scenario
  12. Mauriss isn’t interested nor Hans the funds. He’s got links to Qatar and has allowed his name to be linked with us so Qatar can object to the deal and say that we have an alternative. That's a shame, i like the sound of Hans the Funds. Good Welsh name for a rich lad.
  13. I’ve posted this previously but it will give you a pretty big clue. https://offthepitch.com/a/manchester-united-and-liverpool-given-special-access-vet-chief-executive-candidates Why did the previous two resign ? They knew this takeover was coming up and couldn't face it
  14. Only applies to public institutions, or private ones carrying out public duties i thought? Premier League is not a public sector institution
  15. Doesn't spell CANS (2/10) True enough. Ford Motor Co. (4%) Umbrella Corporation (4%) Cambridge Analytica (4%) Kellogg Company (4%) Ocado (4%) Fray Bentos Holdings Inc. (4%) From Software (4%) Yanzhou Coal Mining Company (4%) Oxford English Dictionariers Ltd. (4%) Universal Corporation (4%) Serco (4%) Morgan Stanley (4%) Abbey Well Fizzy Water Co. (4%) Legal & General (4%) Lloyds Banking Group (4%) Tupperware (4%) Intersport GmbH (4%) Madrox Sensible Football Investment Co. (4%) Estee Lauder (4%) Dell Technologies (4%) World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. (4%) ExxonMobil (4%) Energizer Substandard Battery Co., Inc (4%) Brylcreem Ltd (4%) Spotify (4%) Y was not easy
  16. League wouldn't be involved in the formal purchase procedure I guess. They need to give it their approval for Newcastle to play in the Premier League but there would be nowt stopping anybody from buying the club from Ashley anyway if for whatever reason they didn't give a shit about Premier League approval. I can't think of many scenarios where that would be the case, of course, but my guess is that nobody involved in the sale would have had to formally notify the Premier League that it was all off, other than out of courtesy so they could stop doing their tests.
