  1. This will upset the mackem metro centre shoppers. Fantastic. https://www.themag.co.uk/2022/02/new-newcastle-united-shop-to-open/
  2. Didn’t realise I’d been spotted on way to the match on Tuesday.
  3. Garyswc is not a happy lad. The club have more than sufficient evidence to show this fucker is a die hard mag arsehole. If they don't contact the league to insist he's not allowed to take charge of the game it is just further evidence of the shambles.
  4. Not often I’ll agree with Fanny but they’ve always had an element. Anyone there in 92 or at Kings Cross after they played Spurs in league cup final will vouch for that. Not sure what the new ground is like, but you always had to watch your back at Filbert Street. Always fancied themselves when they had numbers in their favour, so quietly impressed by that lad today wanting to take on the Forrest team.
  5. Maybe they should just employ you as DoF Fanny you always make these deals sound so easy. Meanwhile back in the real world…….
  6. I don’t think it would be wild to suggest we’ll be in for Botman, Nunez and Paqueta in the summer as 3 high end deals. Supplement them with a couple of younger promising players and I think we’d be looking at top half next season.
  7. The thought of Lampard striding on the pitch at the end and fist punching the air makes me nauseous. Absolutely vile set of fans hope we smash the cunts.
  8. Apparently Richarlison and the young lad Gordon played well today. There’s no doubt they’ve got some good players and have underperformed this season. Massive test but think we can get something, 2 wins on the spin would be huge.
  9. I’d take Sarr to be honest if he was fit, it would be a stretch to say he wasn’t far superior to Fraser.
  10. Can’t disagree with this, when the place is rocking it takes some beating.
  11. We looked more balanced in the 2nd half at Leeds with Longstaff in the midfield. If we’re going to become a possession based team, i’d probably swap Longstaff for Bruno as the only change. Not a big fan of Shelvey, but being realistic Howe isn’t dropping him this season. Then for me it’s a choice between Willock and Joelinton, based on his 2nd half performance at Leeds I’d give Willock another chance. Joelinton is a very good option off the bench when the game is more broken, but getting Willock scoring again would be massive in the run in.
  12. Yeah, all the top clubs have membership schemes of sorts. Rather than getting rid of it, this may just be a cut off for this season. It wouldn’t be unreasonable to give members first dibs on new season ticket sales in the summer, and I say that as someone who’s not a member.
  13. Aye, we’ll be in wonderbar before the game, get ya self in Fanny.
  14. Add Raphina to the mix and we’ll be comparing them to Gullit, Van Basten and Rijkard at Milan, or Brehme, Voller and Matthaeus at Inter. I can definitely see us becoming a team full of samba superstars with a feeder club in Brazil.
  15. We’ve simply got to stay up this season and I think this summer will be off the scale. It wouldn’t be unrealistic to imagine them signing Paqueta, Raphina, Nunez and Botman. Would be something special to see 3 top drawer Brazilians at St James, with Joelinton keeping them company on nights out.
  16. Hard one to call this, can see them getting a big boost from Lampard and signings. No matter how bad they’ve been Calvert Lewin and Richarlison will be a big threat. Would love nothing better than beating these scruffy fuckers.
  17. Dubravka Schar-Lascelles-Burn Trippier Targett Bruno Willock Joelinton St Max Wood
  18. I think the key for us now is set pieces with Wood and Burn, getting the runners breaking past Wood from midfield (good signs of this in 2nd half at Leeds) and better delivery in the box to Wood from full backs.
  19. Aye if Sarr comes back they will be under Hodgson, likewise if Weghorst and Cornet start firing for Burnley. However, I think overall now we are better than all 3 rivals at the bottom.
  20. Try imagining Maxi, Willock, Joelinton, Fraser and a fit again Wilson bursting on to them. Wood gives the attack a focal point and with him and Burn we’ll be a big threat from set pieces now.
  21. We’ve given ourselves a great chance. Regardless of another attacking option, if we can’t stay up after spending 90 million serious questions will be asked of Howe. We’ve signed an England right back and world class midfielder. The other additions are solid and I think Burn will surprise people, his stats for Brighton are impressive. We’re up against 3 teams we should now be finishing above, barring a complete injury crisis of epic proportions.

    Stick with Willock no thanks.
