  1. Great footballer to watch, remember when we struggled to pass the ball 5 yards to each other a few months ago.
  2. We’ll be aiming much higher than a 31 year old Ben Yedder in the summer.
  3. If where going to be playing with a back 4 moving forward Targett is ideal. Having a full back who can actually defend is becoming rare in the modern game. Would have him any day over someone like Digne.
  4. He’s an absolute fucking weirdo I’d have banned the cunt.
  5. I’ll rephrase then. ‘The chairs aim is to kick the Saudis out the club’. Seems a bit odd to want to shit on fellow fans like that, but each to their own.
  6. What happened to a few pints of snake bite in the Flying Scotsman on a London away.
  7. Not sure how him and Joe fit into a midfield together , but let Eddie worry about that.
  8. His aim is to kick the Saudis out of the club as per his article in the mag. Let him crack on but he’s deluded and out of touch with the majority.
  9. It’s certainly the majority of fans view so hats off to them. I had no problem with moving to another city centre site, but got to admire how tuned in they are to everything.
  10. Be interesting to know how much they’ve explored the complexities of extending St James at this stage. Can’t help but think their thoughts might change if they find they can’t expand it. However, if this is their view fair play, I would expect to see them pursue the land at St James to future proof any expansion plans.
  11. What do they say about no new stadium ?
  12. I think most of us would have a coronary incident if Big Joe hit the back of the net.
  13. The bloke running this public meeting wanted more than just dialogue over their ownership, his views we’re pretty clear in this article. ‘Fans who are interested in KICKING THE SAUDI DICTATORS OUT OF OUR CLUB AND RECLAIMING NUFC – Join us here’ https://true-faith.co.uk/a-mag-calls-for-action-to-resist-the-saudi-takeover/
  14. Needs must if Fraser and ASM are out, he’s far more equipped to play out wide than Willock.
  15. Used to play effectively on the left for Hoffenhein before being Bruced.
  16. Aye, the pubs at Lane Ends wouldn’t quite cut it to be honest. It’s an interesting video but I think he’s way off the mark.
  17. Video in relation to new stadium. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eL0SJnpo9Rk
  18. Aye, Joelinton wide left and bring in Bruno would be a good option. I thought towards the end of Rafa’s reign Almiron was playing wide left when we started to look good with Rondon and Perez.
  19. Would be happy with Almiron on the left side for this, hopefully he’s straining at the leash to impress. His time under Benitez on the left side was undoubtedly his best period at the club.
  20. Good series of articles from the BBC on the best young players in the world. I’m sure we’ve been linked with Wirtz previously. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60353172
  21. Some good craic in this thread for any older lads on here.
  22. More links to Paqueta in this article with Fofana potentially his replacement at Lyon. https://www.newcastleworld.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/newcastle-united-weigh-up-ps30m-striker-swoop-as-bruno-guimaraes-eyes-reunion-with-lyon-teammate-3580578
  23. Not mad just a general view of the situation at the bottom. I’m of the opinion that any point is a good point when you’re fighting relegation, particularly in our situation where our points per game is just about where we need it to be. Happy to be proven mad by Saturday tea time though, just think this will be a lot tougher than people are making out on here.
  24. Possible alternative striker target for the summer from the BBC gossip page. Arsenal, Newcastle, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan are eyeing a move for Lille and Canada forward Jonathan David, 22. (TuttoMercatoWeb - in Italian)
  25. It’s maybe not what Eriksen will do directly in this game, but the fan fair it will create. It will undoubtedly give their fans and players a lift. Tough one to call this, would happily take a point now and hopefully follow up with win against Brighton.
