Botman to announce there’s a new Dutchman in town tonight. He’ll wipe VVD out to head the winner in front of the travellling hordes. HTFL -

A front line of St Max-Isak-Pedro would be tasty. -
Never watched it, think it Alistair McGowan raving about him. I think he’s a player in the James Milner mould in that he’d give 100% every week and be a real crowd favourite. He’s got quality from what I’ve seen, but if I had to choose someone to really take us to the next level it would be Moussa Diaby.
-
Jack Harrison would have been a great signing, getting more rave reviews tonight from BBC. ‘Tell you what, Jack Harrison is a hell of a player. He's giving Nathan Patterson a torrid time. Although the Scottish international has played well, he's just never been given a rest in this second half’.

These Americans are making Abramovich look like a tight cunt.

It’s not a shit take if you’re one of our away fans who gets treat like shit every year down there. It’s an absolute piss take and I’ll be lobbying for the dingles to be banned from every bar in the city centre later this season. Possibly with the exception of the Black Garter where HTT can roll out the red carpet and offer them free drinks and as many lines they want. -

I’m very happy in life thanks and never been one for just having a popular opinion. -

Not for me lads if they can’t treat us with respect down there, then I wouldn’t let any of the dingle cunts in our bars. -

No problem with that but hospitality works both ways in my book. -

It’s down to their fans who kick off with visiting fans, hence why they do it to avoid bother. -

Not really why should a Wolves fan get to experience every bar in our city, whilst our lot are turned away everywhere. In life you treat others how they treat you is my experience. It may make their away fans push for their city pubs to be more accommodating in return. -

Sometimes think we should treat visiting fans how we get treat at their place. Apart from the mackems most clubs get free reign to drink where they want as long as they don’t act up. -

You hit the nail on the head always drink in Birmingham and get the train in. They’ve always had a big Burberry element and revel in making the place as unwelcoming as possible. -
Was listening to a Forrest fan on the radio last night saying they had no alternative due to number of loan players they had last season. Completely unprecedented from what I can remember, they’ve literally built a squad never mind a team in one summer.
-
This fella seems highly rated, shame that he plays on the left as could have been a great alternative to Diaby.
-
Would Fofana fit into our midfield hell of a player, just not sure he’s more Joelinton than DM.
-
Was having a mooch around on red cafe when we signed Isak and a load of them thought we’d overpaid.
-
Doesn’t sound great for the money being bandied about. However, they’ve obviously seen something in him to think he’ll strengthen the midfield.

For the real football geeks on here how does Alvarez compare in ability to Haidara and this Kone who we’re linked with ? I’d never heard of him which means nowt, but read that Van Basten once said he was to slow. From brief YouTube footage seems to get his foot in and has a decent dig on him, but wouldn’t say I was blown away in comparison to clips of the other 2 I’ve seen.

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

Thinking man’s footballer who get’s his head up and can play a pass, great feet, can beat a man and has all the physical attributes of a young Rooney. What a crying shame the takeover didn’t happen before Bobby Clark left, those 2 could have been tearing up the league in 2 years time for us. -

Was practically the Portuguese national teams midfield wasn’t it ? Easy to be harsh on certain players today, but the reality is that was a cracking result with the players we had out.
