  1. Think the owners have caught the bug already great to see.
  2. Even better if the Saudi’s think Qatar are after him they’ll pull out all the stops. In all honesty can’t see us getting him in our current plight, but nice to be linked with arguably one of the top striker in Europe at the minute.
  3. It’s the Sun but this really would be a dream signing, 2 more goals against Milan last night signing this fella would send out a major message.
  4. C’mon capitalists like the Reuben’s are never going to support the Labour Party. I would guess they share a lot of Tory values hence their support, however it doesn’t mean they like people going hungry. We all vote a certain way but I would doubt we agree with every policy of the party we vote for.
  5. Great gesture by the Reubens everyone’s entitled to their political leanings in a democracy, in no way does it diminish their support of foodbank.
  6. Exactly, convinced it’ll not come to that but the club feels alive again. Cynics might sneer when we say we’ve got our club back, but we all care again and that’s all everyone wanted.
  7. I’m very confident I’ll not be off the mark. We’re in a unique position for a club in our position, get to Jan in touch and we’ll breeze to safety when the cheque book gets opened.
  8. The old adage that a point per game keeps you up is borne out by the current table with Leeds. If we lose against Arsenal but win following 2 home games, we will be only 3 points off a point per game. Early days anyone accepting relegation now are massively off the mark. We’ll stay up with a bit to spare no problem.
  9. Be great to pull off a shock at Arsenal next week to take the pressure off everybody. We must be due some fucking luck soon. Great to finally have club and fans pulling together though.
  10. This is Newcastle we we’re never going to get 9 points from the 3 home games. If we can get 7 it will be a good return and keep us right in the mix. They’ll have learned a lot more about our weaknesses after today, plenty of plus points to build on though.
  11. He’s got a point the fans need to get behind the team for 90mins tomorrow, this first 10 mins then flat as a pancake needs to change.
  12. On the plus side we can blame Jones if we get beat.
  13. Campos still in running according to Echo. https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/19727017.newcastle-united-searching-director-football/
  14. Exactly they’ve obviously miffed a few agents already hence the likes of Balague’s article. All the fucking parasites likes Mendes, Zahavi and co will have been like rats up a drain pipe trying to fleece us already. Far from being chaotic the 1st month I’d say they look patient, street wise and determined not to get their fingers burnt.
  15. The fountain of fuck all knowledge pipes up slagging someone else off again
  16. Not true has journalist contacts in Middle East such as Frank Kane from Arab news, pretty sure he has contacts through sports medicine world aswell. Decent bloke in my opinion but each to their own.
  17. Fender tonight and the revolution getting into full swing in front of a capacity St Jame’s on Saturday. Fuck your Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool’s, this city is buzzing again and will be the only place to be in next few years.
  18. They’ve had MacPartland and Owen Brown advising them on football matters. Jamie Reuben has been on the QPR board for years, absolute nothing article from Balague. So what they delayed sacking Bruce by a week and took there time to get right man. Boo fucking hoo, if this is the worst errors they’re going to make I can live with that.
  19. Another block of 90 seats have appeared In the Milburn even closer to half way than last lot released for anyone still looking. Not sure where these extra tickets have all of a sudden come from, bit pricey but if you want in nows your chance.
  20. Long read if you’re into geopolitics and all that.
  21. About 90 seats in Milburn have just popped up for this.
  22. I mean this BBC article just about confirms the only reason they wanted to stop this takeover. The arrogance and ignorance of competition rules is staggering. “The 61-year-old, who has been the Premier League's chairman for 18 months, has taken the brunt of the blame from clubs over the green light being given to the takeover by the Public Investment Fund. Although Premier League officials felt there was no option other than to allow the deal to go through 18 months after it was first halted, clubs were unhappy at being told about it so late that they could not mobilise an attempt to stop it. Clubs have already started the process of stopping commercial deals associated with the ownership in an effort to reduce the amount of money Newcastle can spend, for fear it will distort the league.” https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59309807
  23. Apparently therefore based on stories like this, I’d expect them to also be questioning their own tv deal with Bein. Human Rights concerns my fucking arse.
