Really going for it would perhaps be issuing the legal proceedings in the Competition Appeals Tribunal - which they said they would - not write a load of letters. It's a load of illogical, disorganised emotive crap, pulling fans along for a ride with no logical destination. Atleast they're trying something? Better then doing nothing, or bitching about them online. As far as I can see from their Twitter account they've spent more time slagging off other Newcastle fans than trying to achieve anything meaningful. It's all a scam - strings being pulled primarily by Steve Wraith. Nothing to do with Steve Wraith and what are you doing to assist the takeover ? I haven’t seen anywhere where they’ve slagged off other fans, they’ve merely pointed out that t***s like you are happy to criticise but done f*** all yourself. As for it being a scam, these blokes have used their own hard earned cash you f***ing cretin. Fans like you fella deserve another 13 years of Ashley.

More evidence that NCSL are working with Ashley to push takeover through - The group have sent a host of questions to Mr Johnson that they would like answers to or have given him either the option of a Zoom meeting or face to face meeting after lockdown. Significantly, their quest for answers appears to have the backing of Mike Ashley and NCSL say that they can "facilitate" a meeting between the Sports Direct magnate's legal team in order to get to the heart of the issue. Mr Patterson states in his letter: "We have the support to host a meeting with the intent of demonstrating the anti-competitive behaviour and the deliberate procrastination in resolving this dispute, along with the refusal to accept information at the EPL in a deliberate attempt to run the clock down. "I am happy to facilitate a meeting between Nick de Marco, Shaheed Fatima both QC’s from Blackstone Chambers alongside competition support from Robert O’Donoghue and Daniel Jowell both QCs from Brickcourt Chambers." After that the plan would be to organise a fan-driven movement - which NCSL insist will comply with Covid restrictions. The letter to Mr Johnson reads: "I’m told the fans will campaign at every opportunity, in a Covid compliant manner, but are looking to repeat the Jarrow March of 1936 - the last time the people of the north felt sufficiently wronged by Government, they undertook a collective action with their feet." The nine questions sent to Mr Johnson include questions on the why the prospect of post-Brexit trade has potentially been blocked in the North-East, how long the takeover process will drag on for and why the matter is now very much in the public interest. The Premier League have been approached by the Chronicle for comment on the fans' legal challenge but have maintained a "no comment status" on previous reports throughout Newcastle's takeover story in 2020. Top-flight chiefs again did not comment on the latest move from Newcastle fans in their takeover dispute.

Couldn’t agree more with this, for the people who don’t believe there’s a chance just get on with your life. We don’t need your negativity, and if you truly believe it’s game over practice what you preach and forget about it. For the rest of the believers Happy New Year and hopefully 2021 is the year Ashley fucks off.

We’ve got 2 of the best QC’s in their speciality fields working on this takeover, and by all accounts a huge legal team behind them working on this, so yes there are people working behind the scenes to make this happen. In addition numerous journalist including Kennedy, Caulkin, Burt Douglass and the guy from the Observer who’s name escapes me, all confirming the aim is to get the takeover pushed through and PIF are just waiting for the wheels to be greased to enable this. On top of this you have massive hints from Staveley’s husband, Jamie Reuben and the NCSL that everyone is aiming to get this done. Remember the takeover 2.0 as Caulkin named it after political pressure, confirmed that PIF money was actually in a bank account in this country to complete the deal. I’ve learned on this site you can’t change people’s minds by presenting glaring information, those who claimed the takeover was dead soon backtracked, now certain people are claiming this is all about compen for Ashley. In short believe what you want, but this is 100% in play with a view to getting the takeover completed. Thats quite a significant step isnt it? If it can be that close and still blown out of the water then it doesn't bode well for pretending any minor steps that seem to be going in the right direction at the moment is some unstoppable snowball which will end in a takeover, if anything people hearing that will probably give up on it ever happening at all. Some would say in the world of football law De Marco is an unstoppable force.

So who do you play against Leicester, i wouldn’t say Shelvey or Hendrick have earned another shot either ? Playing alongside his brother might just raise his game, I’d rather take that chance than the other 2 options available.

Spot on he keeps it simple, I’ve been thinking for weeks that what we’re missing is a Paul Bracewell type player just to break things up, keep possession and start attacks. Though Sean hasn’t been good this season, under no circumstances should Shelvey be brought back against Leicester. I would start Sean against Leicester and hopefully they can dovetail well, with Sean able to get around the opposition box where he can be dangerous with that shot.

It’s amazing how many of you lot have given up and are now off the train. It’s gone quiet because things are at the legal stage and it’s the holidays. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but you lot blow with the wind. Just wait till first week in January, there’ll be new info coming out for sure re the arbitration hearing. Also if you believe PIF have walked and it’s just about Ashley’s compo, then I think your greatly mistaken.
-
Let’s hope we get the ultimate good news we’re all desperate for in the new year Jinky.
-
Enough of the negativity in the other thread, if this results in Bein being reinstated it’s a massive boost to the takeover.
-
Does the 365 guy not post in a group away from the forum, hence why no one can see anything. If Mimms had access to the group, then maybe people should have thought about this before commencing a witch hunt and trying to out him. His info wasn’t always 100% but certainly a lot of stuff was accurate. If some folk weren’t so obsessed with trying to catch people out, we might have still been getting info. Maybe a lesson for some ungrateful cunts for the future, however I doubt it somehow.
-
Hope not confidence is probably the right way to view things right now. However, it’s between xmas and new year nothing is happening, it will ramp up again early Jan and we’ll all be in and out again. Whilst the legal action and political pressure is ongoing, and Staveley hasn’t hoisted the white flag we should all have hope. An early cessation in hostilities between Qatar and Saudi in January, and possible reinstatement of Bein may give the whole process a big shot in the arm. If the PL so called big 6 can’t hide behind piracy anymore, they’ll have to find a new avenue to object.
-
Yeah that’s what I took from January should bear some fruit, of sorts comment. Think we’ll see where this is heading this month, fully expecting the rumour mill to go into overdrive very soon.

This is true but we had a great manager in Benitez and we allowed him to walk away, in no properly run football club would it be acceptable to replace a manger of his pedigree with Bruce. I’m also at the hatred levels with Bruce, however I don’t believe in any way replacing him with another manager moves the club any further forward long term. The only way forward is regime change and until that happens everything else is pointless, and a waste of all our time. The club is currently dead in its current guise and the only flicker of life we have is this takeover. I can't stand the sight of Bruce anywhere near our club. We're going down this season under him. I get this but I also couldn’t stand Pardew, McClaren, Kinnear and Carver, it’s just rinse and repeat unfortunately until Ashley is gone. I do agree he is very capable of taking us down, however I’m confident if PIF are still at the table he won’t be allowed to. I think next 3 league games will either save him or seal his fate, I’m leaning towards the latter.

Great picture this from our glorious past.

f*** that, I'd love this to actually start to look like it might happen. We've had enough rumours and supposed itk's. Recent results and Bruce being in charge are irrelevant really, this is all about Ashley. On another note, given the NCSL goons recent social media posts, they are starting to come across as if Wraith has something to do with them These NCSL goons will have done far more to assist this takeover than the average supporter like me and I suspect yourself. These lads are working in tandem with buyer and seller for the benefit of us all, think the least they deserve is a bit of respect considering the time and money they are putting into this.

His press conferences now seem to have taken the format of an early Boris Covid update, with no follow up questions allowed. Never watched the match and have no intention of watching them again whilst Bruce is there, however what’s clear this season is that Man City aren’t the same team. Bruce was clearly however going to try and spin anything less than a 5 nil defeat as a reaction and improvement. What he clearly is not going to mention is that West Brom got a point there and Fulham give them a run for there money. A Manc b****** to the core and plastic Geordie. He’s been disloyal and odious throughout his managerial career and if we’re not careful very capable of taking us down.
