  1. Fully agree, Keith is a force of nature, where very lucky he has added this new dimension to the attack. Some very thick people on twitter and on here (Sean), who just can’t seem to grasp what is actually happening here. He is fully in the loop with buyer and seller, and is playing his role as an annoying fly very well. Bird & Bird do not threaten him on 3 occasions, unless the PL are rattled. He also confirmed he has spoken to Robert O’Donoghue QC 4 times this week, and the conversations went ‘very well thanks’. Some people will just disagree with anything, but anyone who is not up their own arse and has an ounce of common sense, realises what is going on here. HWTFL, this is happening and soon in my opinion.
  2. I’ve not paid much attention to it all but he certainly feels he’s being trolled. There seems to be a handful of persistent people, who feel he should be answerable to them. You either love him or hate him, but he’s old skool and simply doesn’t give a fuck. However, to judge him on his twitter exchanges would be a mistake, a successful businessman with experience in competition law. Also clearly in the loop with buyer and seller, and putting his own time and money in.
  3. The only way it’s not the end game, if Ashley takes this to the high court in event we lose arbitration. We won’t lose though and Bruce will be history soon.
  4. Been there before with this. Then we find out they've been led on and in reality nothing has happened and the PL just keep kicking the can down the road. He suggested arbitration proceedings are now underway. Now that maybe not the hearing itself, but who’s to say De Marco doesn’t broker this before in preliminary’s if our case is strong. The general vibe I’m getting is things are looking good. It might end up in a final blow to the gut, but I don’t think so, we’re in the end game. It needs to be done before the window shuts or they are buying a Championship club. Talk of Spring suggests we're still in the same position we were before the season started. He insinuated they’ll be looking at everything points gap, fixtures etc. Don’t forget they can still change the manager if window shuts, on paper our squad is capable of staying up.
  5. You can laugh but let’s not forget, you’re the guy who believes the PL has no reason to not want this takeover. I think you were branded naive, so laugh away, we’ll see who’s laughing soon.

  7. He thinks it will be done by spring. A couple of sources he knows in London indicate PL are not confident/losing will to fight it, and basically being forced by big 6 to fight it.
  8. Keith was certainly bullish about our legal case again. I’m sensing a lot of confidence this goes in our favour and soon.
  9. More evidence for De Marco and co to show our takeover was subjected to far stricter scrutiny than any previous. I would have thought the government would have pushed for them to accept the bid. Premier league went to them.... I think they would, but the point is why did they feel they had to go to them. It’s meant to be a confidential process and if scrutiny of our takeover has been shown to be different to others, it all plays into the narrative that we have been treat differently.

  11. Simply put this Manc cunt cannot be allowed to jeopardise this takeover any longer.
  12. If Ashley is happy with club outside of bottom 3 as implied by Chronicle, then I suspect takeover is not currently in immediate danger. Obviously things could deteriorate further over next couple of games, but think 8 point gap is saving grace at the minute. When the buyers start getting twitchy he will act. Banking on that gap would be the biggest mistake that Ashley could make. By the time it evaporates it will likely be too late to arrest the slump. If the buyers are as confident as we hear and the takeover looking nailed on then they should be doing everything they can to oust Bruce right this minute and get Benitez back. Must admit tonight is the first time I’ve actually thought we could be in real trouble here. Let’s hope some pressure is exerted behind the scenes by consortium.

  14. Banners out all over the shop tonight.
  15. Well allegedly they learned a lesson after McClaren, we’re about to find out if they really have. 6 league games without a win, the alarm bells couldn’t be ringing any louder. Absolutely out of his depth and hasn’t got a clue how to turn it around.
  16. Think Ashley's arsehole must be starting to twitch tbh. He won't want to pull the trigger but when that gap gets down to 4 points he'll be shitting it. Yeah, the stats are frightening can’t see where the next win is coming from under this bloke.
  17. Undoubtedly taking us down if not sacked. The time to act is now before it’s to late.
  18. Stop being so negative mate. Always doom and gloom with you. ???⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️
  19. This from Kennedy in Shields Gazette live blog. Had loads of messages/DMs/mentions re Richard Masters' letter, dated December 23, in which Newcastle United’s takeover arbitration against the Premier League is mentioned. To be clear, he talks about 'arbitration proceedings'. The hearing itself has NOT, to my knowledge, started. Progress, however, is expected in the not too distant future. Could it be good news for Newcastle United? Only time will tell, but we certainly hope so.
