  1. It’s certainly different but the seating layout with steep stands looks impressive.
  2. Doku, Cherki and Foden drifting behind our midfield doesn’t inspire confidence. However, for some unknown reason I fancy us here 2-1.
  3. I think we’ll beat them on the day, it’ll be scrappy and nervy but we’ll come through it. Things have to turn for us shortly or I think we’ll see big changes including the manager.
  4. I’m not Gordon’s biggest fan he’s way to predictable and final product is more often than not shite. Unfortunately, I still think he’s our best wide man and probably the only one we have who can stretch the opposition at the back.
  5. Had the misfortune of hearing the charlatan as well. At one point he corrected himself after calling Man U we.
  6. Howe prefers him for a reason and that’s because Barnes is poor off the ball and goes missing. Gordon offers an outlet and raw pace that Howe likes.
  7. If we need them to be missing players it’s a pretty damning state of affairs.
  8. He scored a great goal but was otherwise anonymous like the rest of the team afterwards.
  9. He fucking hates Newcastle and is the most boring cunt I’ve listened to in my life.
  10. Not sure, Barnes scored a great goal at Brentford but went missing pretty much the whole match and doesn’t really offer any outlet. Gordon has been poor bar Benfica but on his day is streets ahead.
  11. Key line is lots going on in the background. It’s not a brownfield site and key stakeholders all working to make it happen.
  12. Boro used to always be a more fearsome away day for a bit argy bargy but in terms of regional significance it definitely mattered to them more than us.
  13. Looking forward to Ordonez, Nusa and Smit in January.
  14. The return of Wissa could help or hinder him, where never using him as a 10 under Howe. The temptation and easy fix is to drop him and play Wissa. I’m hoping we get something a bit more creative that enables them both to flourish together, but the league table probably dictates a pragmatic approach in the short term and they’ll be rotated.
  15. Training ground will reassure people when that comes and I think we’ll be in new stadium by 2031 at very latest. Roughly 3 years for build once everything like planning sorted by 2028, again at very latest. The new Mayoral Development Zone set up is aimed at helping expedite planning permission for big projects like this, so timeline is thought to be realistic. Probably doesn’t help with your cynicism of the Saudis but would take a big change of thinking for this not to happen now.
  16. Massively overrated we lack control, protection of back 4, creativity and the basic ability to pass the ball at times this season.

Never seen the place celebrate a goal like it since to be honest.

Aye brilliant atmosphere, think it was an Easter Monday looked doomed to relegation and support was relentless for the lads. Some great atmospheres in the run in that season, Portsmouth at home being up there with the best and Leicester away on the last day.

Still remember it to this day great away end.
  20. The Port was great and sure a lot of our lads will head there again despite the scare mongering. Clearly like a lot of these places folk need to watch their back and not be wandering around pissed singing late at night, but I’d wager a bet any major issues will be with the French Police.
  21. Brilliant need more fans like Joe. Remember drinking around the Port last time and from personal experience the French Police were worse at the stadium.
  22. Looks better value for money than Anderson or Wharton surely.
  23. Bring back Harry has he recovered from slipping on the mince pie outside the East Stand yet?
