I prefer to remember him for this probably the greatest NUFC away trip for those of us lucky to be there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0wf-DR_A6U&pp=ygUPRmV5ZXJub29yZCBudWZj

Needs to start justifying it if he’s the highest earner, gone off the boil since getting involved with England, very Rob Lee vibes who was never the same player after England. Roy Keane called it right last night, if he wants to be a top player needs to start putting away chances.

I’m sure the club would be willing to divulge this information if they thought it would bring the PL to a CAT, we’ve already supported the Man City case and I’m sure they’d be quite happy to see fines and bans handed down to rival clubs and directors for breaching competition rules.
-
Nobody ever mentioned a Barcelona style sporting club, what’s the daft cunt going in about the Falcons and Eagles for, it’s almost like he wants to put a negative slant on everything. In 5 years time if there’s no progress on infrastructure projects then criticism will be valid, but everything is pointing towards huge investment in the stadium project that we could only have dreamed of 3 years ago.
-
I’d imagine there’s already highly paid Barristers working on standing for an external party to bring the PL to a CAT.
-
Matt Slater who regularly quotes PL sources in these matters, would imagine this is the line the PL have fed him.

This is the key City are already threatening to hold them to account with more legal action, also the evidence gathered here by NUFC of collective lobbying and anti competitive measures against us is huge. I’m not sure if PIF have the appetite to go after the PL currently, however think we’ll test this period of uncertainty with a new sponsorship deal, lawyers such as De Marco will also be advising club of the strength of evidence revealed. There’s also the long shot of an outside party launching a CAT case against the PL if they can show financial loss due to their anti competitive behaviour, would be sweet if NUFC and MCFC supporters joined forces to do just that and bring the house down completely.

Pretty damning from Blue Moon - Having ploughed through all 175 pages I think the worst element of this whole saga is the contempt shown to City over the sponsorship deals at First Abu Dhabi Bank, Emirates Palace, and Etihad. If you read the incredible volume of correspondence it is clear that the PL and their financial people dragged their feet and put obstacle after obstacle in City's way. The Etihad deal was dragged out for almost 12 months. The PL told City it was "above market value" but refused to discuss how they arrived at their figures. City were told they couldnt see the comparison with other deals on the database. The Judges slammed this despicable behaviour. These three delayed deals have probably cost City tens of millions of pounds. The PL didn't respond to letters and emails from City repeatedly. This was just pure obstruction driven by bad faith. No wonder City sued them. Just think about it. Three firms who want to invest in a business in North West England are obstructed at every opportunity. A total disgrace. No one has reported on this properly. There are pages and pages of the PL and its financial people just taking the piss out of City. It's in the link below starting at section 441. https://resources.premierleague.com/premierleague/document/2024/10/07/898efab9-9f51-449b-a393-1a0c05b48824/Manchester-City-and-Premier-League-Partial-Final-Award-071024.pdf

I don’t think anyone knows at this point how this is going to play out due to the voting rules in the PL and what interpretation of the rules they’ll come up with in response. The only thing that’s clear is that if this had been a CAT case the cartel would now be fucked for collective lobbying and fines would be on the agenda. It’s corrupt as fuck but I’m very relaxed as our future is bright and exciting regardless, they can delay but they won’t stop us.

Possibly but both top talents and think we need to adjust our transfer strategy due to PSR, if we can only afford one top player each summer we won’t bridge the gap, think we need to sign the best young players and accept the plan might take longer.
-
This blokes in for a lot of disappointment.
-
Tyler Dibling and Chris Rigg should be 2 young players we should be interested in, both in positions we need and would give the current team an injection of youth.
-
Eddie from Tyneside Life now uses the park regularly and doesn’t see it as being run down, thinks building on it for a few thousand extra seats is destroying the city’s history.
-
It’s pretty clear to me both Gordon and Barnes are one trick ponies and neither looks great on the right. None of the midfield 3 and I include Tonali in this are true attacking midfielders who can probe and create. Yes we missed a striker yesterday and it might have made the difference, but it’s hard to ignore that Isak has played most of the season and been starved of service. Where very predictable the only player currently on the books who changes the dynamic is Willock, even he struggles at home against the low block though and is probably best suited when where under the cosh away from home in transition.
-
Just keep him off pens Pickford was practically on the deck by the time he struck it, the lads just not a natural finisher and his technique let him down badly when pressure was on, just needed to look up, or if keeping his head down leather it.
-
Will we ever be able to compete and beat top clubs without one would be my concern then, we were truly awful in final 3rd tonight, this coming quick on the heels of Tuesday nights shower as well.
-
Best part of 80 million on 2 wingers, just be grateful we didn’t spunk 40 million on Elanga.
-
Who’s the last technical creative player we were seriously linked with, I’d like to think we were serious about Olise in the summer, but the midfield is crying out for somebody who can make a pass.
-
Has done last 2 times there he’s been fucking awful.
-
To be fair he wanted to blow this years budget on a centre half.
-
Thankfully the last time we ever play here unless god forbid we get them in the cup.
-
Nee composure and real lack of quality in final 3rd.
-
Snippet from the Ronnie Gill as well, exciting times ahead - ‘Newcastle United insiders have insisted the club's big announcement on St James' Park in early 2025 will be "truly special" whatever pledge they decide to put on the table for supporters’
-
None of us would want to be there every other week, fucking awful place.
-
Fairly big development if conversations have taken place with Freemen, first real sign there seriously exploring the option. Makes perfect sense to move, a rebuild of St James just looks very complicated and don’t think there’s any viable option of playing anywhere else whilst work takes place.
