  1. I don’t think anyone knows at this point how this is going to play out due to the voting rules in the PL and what interpretation of the rules they’ll come up with in response. The only thing that’s clear is that if this had been a CAT case the cartel would now be fucked for collective lobbying and fines would be on the agenda. It’s corrupt as fuck but I’m very relaxed as our future is bright and exciting regardless, they can delay but they won’t stop us.
  2. Possibly but both top talents and think we need to adjust our transfer strategy due to PSR, if we can only afford one top player each summer we won’t bridge the gap, think we need to sign the best young players and accept the plan might take longer.
  3. This blokes in for a lot of disappointment.
  4. Tyler Dibling and Chris Rigg should be 2 young players we should be interested in, both in positions we need and would give the current team an injection of youth.
  5. Eddie from Tyneside Life now uses the park regularly and doesn’t see it as being run down, thinks building on it for a few thousand extra seats is destroying the city’s history.
  6. It’s pretty clear to me both Gordon and Barnes are one trick ponies and neither looks great on the right. None of the midfield 3 and I include Tonali in this are true attacking midfielders who can probe and create. Yes we missed a striker yesterday and it might have made the difference, but it’s hard to ignore that Isak has played most of the season and been starved of service. Where very predictable the only player currently on the books who changes the dynamic is Willock, even he struggles at home against the low block though and is probably best suited when where under the cosh away from home in transition.

    Anthony Gordon

Just keep him off pens Pickford was practically on the deck by the time he struck it, the lads just not a natural finisher and his technique let him down badly when pressure was on, just needed to look up, or if keeping his head down leather it.
  8. Will we ever be able to compete and beat top clubs without one would be my concern then, we were truly awful in final 3rd tonight, this coming quick on the heels of Tuesday nights shower as well.
  9. Best part of 80 million on 2 wingers, just be grateful we didn’t spunk 40 million on Elanga.
  10. Who’s the last technical creative player we were seriously linked with, I’d like to think we were serious about Olise in the summer, but the midfield is crying out for somebody who can make a pass.

Has done last 2 times there he’s been fucking awful.
  12. To be fair he wanted to blow this years budget on a centre half.
  13. Thankfully the last time we ever play here unless god forbid we get them in the cup.
  14. Nee composure and real lack of quality in final 3rd.
  15. Snippet from the Ronnie Gill as well, exciting times ahead - ‘Newcastle United insiders have insisted the club's big announcement on St James' Park in early 2025 will be "truly special" whatever pledge they decide to put on the table for supporters’
  16. None of us would want to be there every other week, fucking awful place.
  17. Fairly big development if conversations have taken place with Freemen, first real sign there seriously exploring the option. Makes perfect sense to move, a rebuild of St James just looks very complicated and don’t think there’s any viable option of playing anywhere else whilst work takes place.
  18. A new low even by our current standards.
  19. https://www.youtube.com/results?sp=mAEA&search_query=tyneside+life Not a fan but useful for fans outside the region to see what area they’re talking about. Think his conclusion is wrong based on a couple of questions he’s put to Urban Green, but interesting line about the club buying the Sky Offices at Strawberry Place.
  20. Dawn Howe (aka the new Dolly Potter) will be outside the Bridges every Saturday collecting signatures.
  21. PIF should snap up the chance to build new arena and increase our income, that plan seems to have stalled due to costs, stick a ferry landing there as well and bring the river really to life, renovate the whole quayside along to new stadium that’s a lasting legacy.
  22. Could build a ferry landing at the arena site, new landing being built on the north side at Shields, few pick up spots on the way up the river, be a very pleasant way to travel for the match.
  23. Let’s see Dawn Howe change her tune when it’s announced a 70k super stadium is being built on it.
  24. It would certainly expand the city centre footprint having a stadium down there, it might even encourage people to get in the stadium earlier spending their money.
  25. He’s come to that conclusion from an account with 464 followers, I’d say 1 billion for 10k seats makes a move far more likely.
