Brentford vs. Newcastle United: 07/12/24 @ 15:00 (No UK TV)

Howay The Lads need to follow it up and get this season on track. -
Considering we were linked with Huijsen in the summer and then pursued a far more expensive Guehi, just shows how Mitchell needs to enforce a new approach. The kid was tremendous against Solanke last night, will go for over 50 million in next 2 seasons. I bet he’s on less wages then Lloyd Kelly as well, real false economy and highlights our narrow view of the transfer market.
-
Watched Semenyo tonight and no doubt he would be an upgrade, works hard, good energy and some decent pull backs, just not sure he really takes us to another level attacking wise though and especially not at 50 million plus.
-
I could see that one happening and would give us something different.
-
Must be Silverstone and someone from ticketing I presume.

90% of the stadium is devoid of any passion and just sit there in silence. I’ve seen every excuse trotted out in this thread from nerves to that football has changed. Unfortunately it’s bullshit the Emirates were all standing behind both ends last night and it was raucous even with Amazons shit sound, considering the game last night the atmosphere was more akin to Bournemouth at home shocking.
-
Aye definitely need to find a way of getting the younger generation attending with their mates in larger numbers and being able to stand together.
-
Listened to radio newcastle ground sounded good, but on tv it sounded shit, thought it might have been Amazon’s shite sound set up, but then put Arsenal on and it sounded loud. St James’ just has a morgue feel about it at times, sooner where in a new stadium the better. Everybody sitting just looks shit compared to Emirates where large swathes we’re standing up. Never thought I’d see the day when the Emirates was louder and more raucous than SJP.

Magnifico top performance.

Oh Anthony Gordon
-
Never thought I’d say this but get fucking Barnes on this cunt is hopeless.

Aye, they’ll wave their flag and 90% will then sit down in silence for the 90 mins, if they don’t bail out beforehand if the going gets tough. -

Anyone of these knackers saying there shouldn’t be a display supporting Howe, particularly on Wednesday are typical of the fair weather mutes who don’t get behind the lads because they’re nervous, or simply not winning 5 nil every week. Ive got major reservations about Howe, but if attending the match you back him and the team to the hilt, particularly against the arrogant, cheating scouse rats on Wednesday night no excuses. Fan base is full of fickle cunts who don’t have a clue about getting behind the lads at the match. -
You’ve isolated our main striker all season, it’s the build up play that needs work Eddie.

If only we had ‘Rambo’ Reilly to replace Isak up front, instead of Calum ‘felt a twinge’ Wilson. -
Opposition who will park the bus and expose our gaps in midfield on the break.
-
We simply don’t have any technicians in the team, the passing even from Bruno is so sloppy. Not sure what the answer is with the personnel, but ultimately Howe has built a team based on power and pace and left us looking way short offensively.
-
Yawn never happening.
-
I think it’s a wind up i’m one of Howe’s biggest sceptics in the transfer market, but not even he would sink to that.
-
I still don’t think we get anywhere near the best out of Isak, 2 wingers who create fuck all and no number 10 to thread him passes, this season isn’t going to help keep him as it stands.
-
Spot on up the Premier Leagues arse throughout the takeover and was definitely being briefed by them.
-
Really need a tricky player who can unlock a defence, would contemplate letting Barnes go in January if there’s anyone daft enough to give us our money back and bring someone like Bakayoko in. We need some flair in the team going forward, we’ve become predictable and boring as fuck to watch.
-
I can predict the January window now, 4 weeks of being told Howe wants PL experience, more tension with Mitchell and constant links with Calvert-Lewin and Elanga. Cant fucking wait.
