Both were shite tbh. Let's be honest. Tonali gave the ball away a few times, both looked slow. (sorry for the realism)

This is gonna be fun tonight. We were shit the whole game tbh. The atmosphere was almost as embarrassing as our midfield - we continued straight on from the city defeat. Slow, sloppy, and side ways. Gordon apart, not good enough.

Sven Botman: could return vs Ipswich (Tindall)

Top player, MOTM for me. -
6/10 for me. I think he's well below the Bruno that arrived. Sluggish and slow. Thought it was his injury last year, not sure now.

I don't even think they've been that good. Most of that today is reputation and we're sitting off them. When we have it we're too static and close in midfield. Some fucker needs to break their backline with a run. Willock would be perfect. I'd get Wilson on to hold it up and get Isak on the wing. -

Actually, think Almiron is the only fucker making any runs off the ball. The midfield three are so static and no one is breaking behind. Big Joe notably. Not sure if this is Howe's ask but it's been quite flat and very slow. -

We're so static. Not much movement off the ball, bar Miggy today. The passing is too slow also. -

Strong city lineup, but I have the feeling a couple of those are not 100% fit. Fuck it, it's a free hit this one, give it a go and you never know - Botman keeping the big bastard quiet is key. A little luck and we should be good for a point at least. HWTL's!!!! -
Get in! Hate these fuckers!

I'd start the same team, then go again with our subs when they get tired in the last 15. I'd also stick with Gordon for his work ethic against Walker. Excited by the game, but you never know. -
Fucking love Eddie! Building quite the squad. For all the money we have, it's down to his appetite, work ethic, and standards that we are where we are. Hope he's here for a very very long time. We're very very lucky!

Two footed, strong as an ox, techincally insane. Let's hope we can get it done.
-
Impressive move, if it comes off.
-
I do remember thinking he was really impressive when he played us. Other than that, I know little. 30 is a lot, but in terms of a full-back that Eddie can coach and play for 12-15 years, it's peanuts, really. The kid looks like a high-quality progressive ball playing full back. He and Tino - some fullback pairing, exciting thought. Let's hope we can get it done. What a window.

I'd rather have Big Joe over Caicedo, he's clearly highly rated but I've not seen that much from him to warrant half that price.
