Not sure what advantage there is from playing clearly exhausted or and injured players - my only pain point with wor Eddie! He looked wrecked from the kickoff and finished the game. Madness!
-
Agree but he's flogged to death. Guy plays every second of every fucking game, and it's a rule that everything has to go through him. We need some more creativity and brains to help him. Longstaff was utterly invisible today tbh
-
At what point do you bring Livramento and Hall on? ffs
-
Rancid 45, that. Too many playing for themselves of late, rather than running for their team. Piss Poor.
-
Townsend in Jan?
-
should have been longstaff not Miley.
-
And continuing to fall over when he eventually does - frustrating player of late. Not doing enough.

Howe is a class act, in all ways. Just needs a little break with injuries. We're running before we were walking, it's caught up a little. Hope he's here for a very long time, the guy makes you proud to support Newcastle United.

Chelsea 1-1 Newcastle United (19/12/23) Chelsea win 4-2 on penalties

It's tough to press high after playing 3 games a week since September with 13 players. Today was a shocker but it's only going to get better, I'd say. Eddie is the last guy to sit back, but damned if he does right now... -

At what point would you say we are at last resort? We look like we're running over the trenches the last few weeks. Players are playing too many games and we have bugger all options. -

Combination of tiredness in many forms. Physically stretched due to Key injuries and betting habits → those playing are playing high pressure top top opposition every 3 days → Little to no training → Those that are coming back are being rushed back Can't knock these players for being physically and mentally shot. When you see Miggy not sprint back you know they're fucked! Such a bizarre season, even if we had got a port vale or a fulham etc but no, its AC Milan, PSG, Dortmund, Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea...cant fucking write this shit tbh - it's comincal. All with a squad that is simply not ready to battle on 4 fronts. -

They all do - thats the point. He made a mistake - it fucking happens. If not for their mistake we'd not have scored. It's just a royal kick in the nuts...Only NUFC. Next year! Proud of the lads, did very little wrong. -

Gotta love these lads like. Bruno must be on -10 Battery - still giving it 200%. Some team of players we have. -

Flat in attack, resolute in defence. Looking shattered but still a threat if we get it anywhere near that Badavasaaloioi guy - he's utter wank! HWTL -
What's everyones thoughts on Toney? Bit of a knacker but his confidence is similar to that of Wilson, he'd be a great option to rotate with Wilson and allow Isak to rotate also with them and the wide players. Barnes left, Gordon right? I do think a RW would be great too, but not sure who....Bowen from WHU? or some unknown European?

Head and shoulders. So so good today. Top man! Him and Miley link up was great to see.

Newcastle United 3-0 Fulham (16/12/23) | Reaction: pg 33 | Goal-posts: OP

His stats agree. One of the most one-dimensional players I've seen for us. We lack creativity, especially to unlock a team down to 10. Bruno is the only one who sees a pass. Longstaff is a waste of time in this game and we need to offer something other than the right-wing triangle move that is becoming predictable... -
The silver lining - is not in the euro league. Get the injured back, buy a couple and concentrate on the league again. Proud of the lads and this club. HWTL

I Thought Longstaff looked more like the debutant 17-year-old tbh, when he came on. Class act and should hold his head high. Well played lad!
-
Comical, really. Lovely lad, clearly and busts his balls week in, and week out, but you score goals through assists. He's playing as a wide forward so more is needed from the wide two. Canny sub but should not be starting next season.
-
Any good?
-
Maybe a decent GK as well.
-
Anyone having a pop at Eddie needs to do one, like. Got fuck all to work with and I reckon half the players turning out are carrying knocks. Entitled seem to grow faster than brain cells in a defeat with many of our fans. He should not be questioned yet or next season in my opinion. I'd buy a 6 and another wide right/forward and fuck ffp and go again.

Kieran Trippier: targeting return for Brighton (h) (Hope)

Lucky to have him. Back to his best today. He sets the tone. What a leader. Honestly, hard not to love this entire team - they represent us with pride.
