Chelsea vs Newcastle United: 27/10/24 @ 14:00 Sky Sports

Tough game today. I caught the Chelsea game vs Liverpool last week. They were beat but looked really strong in phases. Young, pacey and direct. Hope I'm wrong but I think we might struggle today down there, we look bang out of form and have not started the season yet. Fingers crossed for a win to get us going! -
Love Bruno, he's by far our best footballer. But I've always said, he's not an athlete in my opinion. Technically amazing with great vision but he plays far too deep to really effect the game right now. More worryingly as he's out last protection to the defence he's often bypassed and chasing back, but lacks the pace to get back in shape. He's been piss poor all season but genuinely think he needs to be released to play his natural game with someone else sitting as a six, wether thats Tonali, Longstaff or someone else. He should be higher up the pitch. If it were me now. I'd play Longstaff as a designated 6. Tonali and Bruno as a double in the middle, both are box to box and can hold possession. Oe play 5 at the back - Tonali and Bruno in the middle with Hall and Livra as WB's. Then play Isak, Barnes and Gordon as a fluid 3. Pope Schar Kraft Kelly/Burn Livra Hall Bruno Tonali Gordon Isak Barnes Fuck knows....probably last nights beer talking
-
Bruno, has not been on top form himself this season and Isak, although isolated at times looks disinterested, as does Gordon. Both certainly not the performers there were when they signed and that's for Howe to figure out.
-
Gordon is rotten today mind. ffs

Not one of our midfielders reads opposition runs, ever. We're so easy to play through.
-
Willock will help sort Isak out. Tonali also.

There today, ready to get behind the Eddie and the lads. Few beers and off we go... W 2-0. -
gaslighting lol - relax man! go for a fucking walk.
-
Not if the club had been a circus for best part of 20 years. But I don't know Eddie like you seem to. Things take time. But we can agree to disagree. Sorry I posted in a slightly open, positive manner that you did'nt agree with.

Yep - Few too many with very short memories and bubbling faces. Like 3 year olds not getting what they want.
-
In the few weeks he's had his feet under the table?
-
ffs - going off his record and experience, but rightio mate.

Just watched this. Seems an elite operator and a nice bloke too. Hopefully he stays away from singing in Stack and keeps the best 11 on the field. No complaints with him or Mitchell. They need to have the time and be enabled to do their jobs.

Who's this Guehi lad? -
Did ok. Just another filler. Backed off way too much a few times and did'nt seem to want to get forward at all. Rather we used him as a CB.

AFC Bournemouth 1-1 Newcastle United (25/08/24)

Critical season (and window) this. No Top 4 and it's back to the drawing board. We must limit the use of Longstaff and Murphy. Also think we really miss Wilock right now. We are so disconnected front to back. -

So lacklustre and sloppy, from Pope to Isak. Not much fight these days. -

Imagine if he put Gordon on the left and did the same from two wings - Southgate is a coward man. Trippier is a waste of time there. -

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

Agree with many on here. Not sure he was ever going to be a regular first team starter but very sad to see a local lad with obvious talent sold off cheaply without giving him more time. He would have been a dependable and positive squad player for a few seasons. Never let us down but maybe lacked the pace to really cut through. That aside, the last few days have been bleak in regards what the game represents now - it's a fucking sham and pretty depression the only way you can spend is by selling on your own young talent. Rules made up by the few to suit the very few. The games going to shit.
