6 years ago we were mathematically relegated on the 11th May... thankfully this time round we can secure safety mathematically so long as Leeds don't turn it round

The 19/20 shirt was meant to resemble that season's shirt and we know how that went!

Interesting they're picking up on the 130 years, I didn't realise it was that big an occasion. Home shirt I can get by but the away... would suit a Saudia sponsor or something that uses that colour scheme to begin with

Sky have been asking Jose about a move to Newcastle? https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/competitions/premier-league/12610091/jose-mourinho-im-not-looking-for-a-change Nice words but never a chance in Howe being replaced, so wonder why Sky are putting it to him

One for Wednesday... notice the Alex Neil (estate agents) advert in the background

4 to 6 is another good window if we can try shift some deadwood along with it... compared to what we usually get about 5 quality players would be amazing while exploring all the markets (loan, free) for value

Ending the season on a high

And there's the 7th!

Some of those existing interior pictures are woeful, the changing room one makes me laugh. The lounge area too and the presentation room looks cramped

https://theathletic.com/news/newcastle-submit-plans-to-significantly-upgrade-benton-training-ground/FFn0ARonPtTx/?amp=1 The single storey extensions are set to add approximately 610 square metres to the footprint of the building, and the club hope they can be completed swiftly, perhaps even during the off-season. It is anticipated that there will be minimal disruption for the playing squad and staff, though The Athletic understands that the idea of the first-team training at St James’ Park for the final couple of weeks of this season was floated, before being deemed unnecessary. I assume the document you linked has all the quotes The Athletic are lifting

Just an in-case Poch gets sacked (all the press think it's likely) and Conte jumps as he's the preferred choice apparently. Feels an age ago they had Nuno in charge for like 10 games... least we won a manager of the month!

Obviously it's a stop-gap but sorely needed - had a look at the current plans we don't have a dedicated analysts room already? The new complex will be amazing having the women's team, first and academy all together on one site with everything you'd expect of a world class facility

Craig Hope https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10783373/Newcastle-considering-Villarreal-star-Arnaut-Danjuma-reunion-Eddie-Howe.html Newcastle are tracking Villarreal forward Arnaut Danjuma as Eddie Howe seeks to add goals to his team this summer. Sportsmail understands the Magpies have watched the 25-year-old in recent weeks and a move to re-unite him with Howe is under consideration. The Holland winger has scored 16 times for Villarreal this term, including six in their journey to the semi-finals of the Champions League, but he missed Tuesday night's second-leg defeat by Liverpool because of injury. Danjuma's price tag - it is said Villarreal would want at least double the £20m they paid Bournemouth last summer - and his desire to play European football are potential stumbling blocks, although Newcastle's ambition has already persuaded the likes of Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes to join the club.

The players wouldn't be the same had they stayed
