I don’t think their job is being made any easier by all of these bullshit directives being brought in, but common sense and accountability seems to have gone out the window completely. When you’ve got defenders defending with their hands behind their backs and people getting elbowed in the face with minimal punishment, when you have a video replay system you could utilise to study the incident, the game is fucked! This is what happens when the game is governed by people who have never played or managed it. I think the ref today got most of the big calls right tbf. Most, not all

We just don’t look very dangerous! We swarmed all over teams last season but it feels a bit workmanlike at the moment. Good to see Bruno back to somewhere near his best and I’m looking forward to seeing Barnes and Gordon play when Tonali is in the middle. Overall though, we need to improve by about 100% if we’re going to have another top 4/6 season

Totally understandable but it doesn’t have to be a goal, an assist can be just as important. That shit decision of his not to pass the ball to Wilson felt like him trying to be the match winner and it cost us big time. Just a shit decision that he hopefully doesn’t repeat

I know we’re not suppose to criticise the manager on here but I think he has to take a lot of the blame for this. We came out after half time with no drive, no aggression, no determination to finish the game off and nothing of his demeanour on the touch line suggested he wasn’t happy with the approach. We’ve just gifted Liverpool 3 points they didn’t deserve because we were cowards. Really shit from Howe!

He won’t want to sell him but Palmer is first team ready now, but has to get past Jack Grealish and whoever else. He’s 21 and he’s just won more trophies in one season than Harry Kane has in total. If he’s got ambition, now’s the time to leave.

I said yesterday that I’m fairly underwhelmed and would have liked us to have done more, not in terms of the quality we’ve brought in, but the numbers. And I stand by it. But when the season starts, I’ll be fully behind the team as always. It’s just my opinion. It might be a shit one, but it’s mine. The outrage it caused was ridiculous though. People were genuinely up in arms!

'Slating' is a bit strong. I haven't seen anyone on here saying he's shit. That would be slating! Saying you would prefer to go into next season with a specialist mobile full back instead of Dan Burn playing there, isn't.

I'd be more than happy with Targett as our left back. I thought he did great when he first came, but the reason I, and I guess most other people don't talk about him as our first choice LB is because Eddie doesn't seem to see him as that. Even last season when most people were calling for Dan Burn to be dropped and Targett to come in, Eddie stuck with Burn and Targett warmed the bench. If he's our first choice LB this season, great!
