Can we just step back a minute. Do we honestly think that at every single step of our transfer discussion, that NUFC are briefing these people at all. I mean say NUFC have decided to make an offer, would they then leak this or put this info out to certain individuals? No way would they be doing that - it is all complete bullshit now! They need to clicks and so are just making things up and put NUFC name against it as we are in the market for players. Not wasting my time on this anymore. Going to turn on notifications from NUFC official site and turn off looking in forums. Its driving me mad!

So how on ****ing earth haven't we signed like 8 players for about £120m and offloaded some of our utter **** for around £20m? CB - Ginter, Tarkowski, Felipe, Romagnoli, Denayer, Zagadou, Christensen. Not one of these would cost more than £20m now. MF - Brozovic, Kessie, Zakaria, Grillitsch, Isco, Kamara. The first two might be slightly more, but the rest? Well under £20m. Four of these are DM's. FW - Dybala, Lacazette, Dembele, Belotti, Aznoun, Brereton Diaz, Origi. Yeah, we're not getting Dybala and Lacazette's not likely. But the rest? They're not pricey. Get two or three just to have options. Or the alternative is try to survive with Clark, Lascelles, Ritchie, Shelvey, Hayden and Longstaff. I mean, I've seen some ****ing no-brainers in my time, but this takes the piss. What does relegation cost - 1 year and say £150m as well as having to trade players to get us out of the championship. Nothing is guaranteed but if Botman and Carlos are the top CB targets then it makes little sense haggling over say £5 to £10M difference at this point. Fine when you have time in summer etc and not over a barrel but in January, if it would take an extra £5m to Lille to seal Botman then do it. If they then up the price again then time to move onto next target. Just my opinion, if we are going for 5 extra players this window and we have to spend £5-10M extra each that's £50M. Compared to loss of £150m, plus extra for player trading, doesn't make sense to haggle for too long, false economy!

Those 2 sentences just show what a fucking shit squad we have. We dont even have the basic cover to play people in their correct positions, never mind trying to improve on the players we have in those positions.

Constantly running at a defence for a whole game is kind of knackering. And that is why he has no footballing brain. He doesn't need to run at the defence for the whole game. If he was smart he would know that as soon as he has the ball, 2-3 player are attracted to him. Time to think not run, that means my teammates (ones in B&W not yellow) will have space and therefore I can just lay the ball off and the attack will build!

Its a rumour put out by a journalist. If all were true we would have signed 200+ players already with the amount of players being linked every day. If they are aiming for Trippier standards of players then Im well happy. We can't bash recruitment until we see who we do or dont get in the door! Time of excuses is well over for this group of players. We have had: - They can't adapt to 442 - They can't adapt to a more attacking style of play - They can't adapt to a more possession style of play It just insane, they can't adapt full stop because they are shit, were in their comfort zone and know taking a strop because they may be replaced. Pathetic is what the 1st team is!

He has until the end of the season and then I will make a judgement when he has more of his players in. He could help himself though in the meantime - definition of madness Ritchie has played 90% of games at LB this season - how many games have we won, 5% He is not a left back, never ever play him at left back. He is a sub player at best and for a wing position. If you haven't got a left back then at least play a full back that has some idea of what the role requires - eg Manquillo. Clark is done - dont play him again unless we are down to no CB

Its obvious to me, this window they need to be utterly ruthless. They need to replace 70-80% of the entire 1st team. Howe must know who the bad eggs are and they need to be moved out, either loans, sales (yeah right) or just paid off. It needs to be a cull. Before I was thinking, takeover, players will respond postively to new owners, new enthused crowd etc. They really haven't. Fuck em, get rid as soon as replacement found.
