  1. Don’t know who to really point the finger at, but Shelvey should have been shouted at to slow down on the FK. Ultimately it’s a collective of having no leadership on or off the pitch. Shelvey should have slowed down on the FK. He should be able to think for himself on that, and gauge what’s going on around him that there’s a change of system/personnel. Yet he’s thick as pigshit, however he should have been told by Lascelles, Ritchie coming on, Bruce/Jones. That’s the start of the mess, once ball is in play you can’t expect Murphy to go from LW to RB. Ritchie is the only one that knows the instructions, change of system, he knows that it should be a back 5. He’s on that right side, but happy to allow Hayden to do a job at RB in a four. Especially when it goes over to Wolves right side, Ritchie should be filling in at RWB until it can all be sorted. This amateur hour stuff just suits him to the ground. Hard to imagine it happening to a manager that isn’t so hands off, and controls the tactical direction of the side. He just leaves coaching and tactical planning to Jones and the Steve’s, so it’s to be expected that same lack of influence/leadership in on-pitch matters translates into every player thinking for themselves, and this sort of disorganised clusterfuck.
  2. Dummett last season, Norwich away, second game of the season in the warm up said players had no idea what they were doing.
  3. He will 100 get a promotion chasing championship job after we bin him That’s the annoying thing. His career was on life support at Sheff Wednesday. He’d reached the end. Sacked from Villa, there was no chance he was ever getting a PL job. Would have been a matter of time before he’d been sacked from SW, no better club would have come in for him to allow him to jump ship. In a parallel universe he’d have been sacked by SW by now, wouldn’t have been able to take them up far too many better sides. Sacked from SW, 60 years old, where does he go from there? That’s it, he’s finished. His ego/salary would rule out any club that would be bothered with him - League 1, low Championship. But no, we come in and throw him a bone. Once he’s done here, he’ll be able to get another Championship job if he wishes. We’ve essentially extended his career by about 5 years, and a few million.
  4. State of Bruce there, even fatter back then! Waddles across, but is probably too gassed to get involved!
  5. Nicky Forster on this weeks Undr the Cosh podcast. Played with him at Birmingham, said he’d get a driver to drive him to training; he’d get there an hour early and just sit in back of car reading the paper instead of socialising before training. Said he’d never bother doing a warm up, just ran himself a bath and sat in it reading the paper instead of going out for the warm up.
  6. No doubt he’ll be rushed back, which in fairness is needed, but will play held together with string and no doubt be fucked again within a few games and out for rest of season, we’ll be relegated, he’ll be sold.
  7. No chance he’d still be in a job with 2 wins from 17 at any other club in England, not many even in Europe’s top league if even the World! Even some small minnow that’s been promoted to Seria A, Dutch or even the Belgian league wouldn’t stand for 2 wins in 17! Got to be worst run of his career now
  8. Norwich had worst defence in the league, and shipped goals for fun. Fair to say him playing every week wouldn’t have helped tighten things up. Can’t defend, can’t attack, weak as piss, loses out every-time when a player makes body contact, can’t pass forward, can’t run forward, can’t cross a ball. Easily the worst first choice full back in the league. Such a dweeb, reminds me of that nerd at school that would stand shivering and jump out of the way when the ball came, or at best toe punt it aimlessly on whatever direction they were facing.
  9. Same. Why? Not really our biggest threat relegation wise.
  10. Change of opinion from what we last heard him spewing out. Jake Humphrey put him in his place. Would rather he just never spoke about this club again mind.
  11. Krath could get rinsed by someone passing him on an escalator. Can’t wait for Lewis to bump into Adama and get sent flying though. Such a passive little weed.
  12. Has to phrase it likes he doing something special. Start of that drivel is a proper little pat on the head for himself.
  13. Depressing that even with that match day squad filled with such dross there’s nothing from the academy there.
  14. In some fantasy land where I knew we were guaranteed 17th, wouldn’t give an arse if we lost 6-0 every game until Bruce is sacked or falls on his back and can’t right himself. We’re never going to consistently see the football shown between that last half hour of Leeds home and Everton away, and it’s only a downward trajectory under the Steve’s so would prefer to just see us tanked every game and watch Bruce’s mental state unwind press conference by press conference. Proper Shining style. He’s just so unlikable, and offensive to every sense, just don’t want him anything to do with Newcastle United.
  15. Kieron Dyer really is thick as mince Played for the club for years under one of the greatest managers ever, know the club and what the fans want and still produce s*** like that. Crazy. Can’t stand hearing Dyer, Jenas and Bellamy talk about our club. Always missing the mark, and grinding their axe against us. Souness must have really done a number on them all, as they were privileged to play for an incredible man and manager, play in the CL and play in front of some amazing crowds at SJP - but they’ve rarely got a good word to say about the club, fans or city.
  16. It’s baffling how he gets so pissy about it all. Laughable, how a 60 year old bloke who spent his whole adult life in top level football is so sensitive and irascible to criticism from the media and fans. Every club he’s been at he’s eventually stunk the place out, and the critics have quickly come after him. Nearly walked from Birmingham due to it, managed Sunderland when they all knew he was a mag, and had a cabbage tossed at him during a match. Think he’d have worked it out by now. Needs to get his heed out of his fat arse and do some self reflection. However odious Fat Sam might be, he’s not short of some self confidence and will give as good as he gets with criticism. Was saying that he won’t struggle for another job despite sending WBA down this week. Steve Bruce is just such a fanny about it all, totally hysterical should anyone question the fact his side is a bag of shit to watch and is getting relegated.
  17. Don’t really want to hate him, just don’t want him starting every week for this club. Just a guess here, but you’d have imagine Rafa would have wanted him gone - an insistence on him staying/unable to sell from board level could have been the one of many things Rafa grew tired of. Wouldn’t be half as arsed if he was coming off the bench and we were winning games most weeks, but Jonjo Shelvey is not what a team like ours at the moment needs.
  18. About time he was shown up for the lazy dosser he is. Only really us lot and Swansea fans know how useless he is. Seems to be this reputation that he’s this creative wizard of midfield. He’s a liability without the ball, and haven’t seen a slower player in a long while. Even with the ball at his feet he’s at a snails pace. Never used to be quite that bad, always had a little turn of pace and a dribble in him.
  19. Total joke this bloke. What is it now, 12 defeats from 16? Should have been worrying months ago, we all were. Signs have been there from start of season, even when we were picking up points we were playing garbage or just relied on luck.
  20. From what I’ve seen of Tuchel there his 343 with Hudson Odoi as a wingback is looks pretty good, very flexible. Quite like Hudson Odoi playing essentially as a winger with Mount inside, and then Azpi comfortable at right back. What Tuchel and Pep are doing with a 3 cb systems is worlds away from the stiff arse cancer Bruce puts together.
  21. Pretty damning comments from himself, for even the most ardent fan boys like Agbonlahor can surely see him admitting he left players in comfort zone and didn’t bother changing anything shows him to be terrible.
  22. Only tune in for the last 15mins on Friday for the game, and that’s getting too easy.
  23. Aye, just needs nuking and starting a fresh. With genuine best in class, professional appointments. Watching it I can’t help but find the whole story mental and stupid instead of it pissing me off. It’s nothing nefarious , like I’d imagine Wise’s time and what he’d have got up too, this is just Ashley running it like it’s a Sunday league side. Few years ago might have been more bothered, but past caring any longer.
