I'm just hoping the owners would pay any contract up. Just can't see the sense in keeping a gambling logo on a shirt of a club owned by the Saudi PIF. I was hoping to get the green/white and blue kit for the first time in years - no chance if it's Funn88 still.

The supposed kits images have no logos on. Is that normal with all clubs kits before they are officially released or do even pre-release kits have the logos on. Don't usually follow kits so not sure.

I'm just hoping it's a backstreet Turkish or Chinese shop who have copied the design and just put the current logo on. Must admit that the photo does fill me with dread though. For 1. we need the sponsorship money and 2. the logo is fucking hideous

Where's that from? I just can't see it if they're trying to hit the Saudi market, as with a gambling logo in a country where gambling is banned, then they're not selling many if that's the case. Me personally, I would buy the new shirt unless that logo is on, as it's fucking horrendous. Surely not

If that is the case, then the owners really need to start thinking about court action concerning anti-competition and restraint of trade.

Hopefully with the make up of the team come this season, we will have a lot more of the ball in the opposition half. Our possession stats did improve a little under Howe, but ths is an area we need to improve on, as we often struggled to get over 40%. I'm certain it will be foremost in Howe's mind also.

We just can't take a chance with his fitness though. He just misses too many games to be the main striker. We need another top notch striker to progress anyway.

I honestly don't think we will have any choice but to build a new stadium in the future. I think the costs of extending St James for a relatively small increase in capacity, just won't make it cost effective. The opportunity for significant increased revenue streams through sponsorship with a new stadium is very hard to ignore either. Most importantly though is the fact that there are going to be a large number of supporters currently and future (youth), who will be unable to attend on a regular basis due to capacity limits. This is all subject to the owners future plans, which I honestly think is to be one of the biggest, best and most successful clubs in the world.

Honestly think (not saying one window either), we need a new number 1 striker (can't count on Wilson to be on the pitch), left and right wing players, number 10/attacking midfielder, defensive midfielder, centre half and left back. That has to happen imo, to really push onto the next level, which I'm pretty certain the owners will provide for, in the next few windows coming up.
