  1. Shows what a shit reporter he is, there are plenty of photos of Hall on the pitch during the Keegan years. Trying to make a point that something didn't happen (to have a go at the current ownership ), when the evidence is readily available, is laughable journalism.
  2. The league table and the form table show there is very little between them. 50/50 game for me.
  3. The reason he keeps saying it, is because he is continuously being asked the question by reporters. He can't suddenly change what he originally said. He mentions revenue and that is the key issue, as I fully expect that the increase of sponsorship/commercial deals, will be pretty significant and ongoing moving forward.
  4. He's surely not a mackem either, as he called the airport Newcastle, whereas all the 'Massive Lads Fans' would never use this, "Ponteland for me marra"
  5. Yep despite them already having over 10,000 more than their actual average attendance
  6. Been to Forest a few times and always found their fans to be a bunch of pricks to be honest. Something has got to be done about these pitch invasion as I can see a player being killed or seriously injured at some point.
  7. Just need little old Wycombe to send them into total faux outrage
  8. That red would have gutted Oliver
  9. Yeah they're not going to widely publish it that's for sure. FFP will hold us back a little the first year or so until they start building up the revenue/commercial deals (and they will). Edit - I don't take much notice of Caulkkn either now as I think he's lost it big time and his reporting during the takeover was just plain embarrassing at times.
  10. What journalists like Edwards
  11. Its been over 30 years since Newcastle were anywhere near where we are now and their average attendance then was 16k Typical mackem quoting gates from the 80s (when all attendances were massively down). The thick fucker conveniently doesn't mention (or probably doesn't know his clubs history), that their gates were even then, lower than this total.
  12. You just need to look at their revenue from ticket sales year on year to see the true story.
  13. Don't let facts get in the way.
  14. You could say the same about the states also though. Beheading believe it or not is a more humane method of killing than the gas chamber, electric chair and lethal injection (when they get it wrong). I'm no way saying that the death penalty is the right thing, but don't leave western countries out of it either. France was still using the guillotine into the 70's.

  16. Back page or somewhere similar as not seen them advertised
  17. Saudi is a relatively new country in terms of footballing status. I agree about having superstar players is a key aspect (I've already mentioned this) and I would agree about the teams having an impact also. As for you thinking it's nonsense, time will tell, obviously the owners think differently otherwise why do it.
  18. As I said earlier that's your choice, which I totally accept.
  19. The more kit sales, the bigger the future kit deals will be also. It's not just about the shirt sales themselves.
  20. Have a look at the population of Saudi and equate that to 5-20% additional revenue, it will also increase the sponsorship opportunities on the back of it and possibly future kit deals.
  21. It is currently for us. not for the likes of Liverpool, Man Utd, Real Madrid etc though. Then there is more sponsorship opportunites which will evolve.
  22. Far more likely to buy it with Saudi colours though.
  23. Of course it does it increases the revenue sales which are included within the accounts.
