  1. I actually think this is a must win game to make sure we bring other teams back in the mix. I certainly don’t want a situation where it’s one team out of four stays up. We can be one point behind Everton and most likely also reduce the gap with Leeds and Brentford.
  2. Of course we do, as we can’t keep dropping points at home. It’s a massive chance to also pull in a few other teams into the mix. Got to play Bruno from the off and put Willock in a more advanced role. However, I would not be shocked in the slightest if both Shelvey and Longstaff start.
  3. Funny as fuck seeing them turn on each other on RTG after a few days of fist pumping solidarity. Das Kapital
  4. One is just above us and one is midtable, if you want to stay up then you should be looking to beat these teams at home. We have miserably failed to do so in previous games against teams of this level at home and if you keep going down that road, then there is a good chance you're going to be relegated. Didn't even mention Bruno, we should be looking to win both these games even before he was signed.
  5. We have 2 winnable home games coming up and we have to make the most of it. Can’t keep dropping points at home in these type of games
  6. Pound for each ticket to the Bradley Lowery foundation which is good
  7. Didn’t they get 45 against Bradford 3 year ago on Boxing Day
  8. Think he was taking the piss.
  9. Automatic looks a lost cause and I didn’t think they would go up that way for a while now. However, I thought they were a cert for the play off and that is now seriously looking that they may struggle to get up that way either. Sheff Wed coming up fast on the rails also. The 5 in a row is on glorious
  10. Isn't the fellow from Saudi Golf, heavily tipped to be being made a Director in the near future?
  11. Need him in from the start as that current midfield is pretty wank. We have 2 winnabe games coming up at home and we can't afford to be fucking around trying to bed a new player in.
  12. Well as I mentioned yesterday, he’s a guest at the match on Tuesday. I’m sure both QCs the club used are still on board with the new owners
  13. I honestly can see the sponsorship deals ending up in the competition courts in the future. The owners have already put the shot across the bows and I cannot see them accepting interference from other clubs as it’s anti-competitive and a restraint of trade. Going to interesting to see what sponsorships are announced
  14. See De Marco is coming up for the game next week, wonder if he's now working on something also for the owners?
  15. That will have then spitting venom as they don't like Mr Hope
  16. Keane, well that is a total clusterfuck of an appointment if ever I saw one. Not a good policy running the club on the whim of the support. Long may it continue
  17. Yeah he needs replacing in the Summer. Can’t keep relying on a player who is guaranteed to miss at least a third of any season. Shame as he’s probably a 15+ striker if he was playing the full season.
  18. Yeah true, only thing is that if he isn’t played, their fans will be foaming at the mouth. The owners have shown that they are inclined to bow to fan demand in the past. Looks like Grant McCann is in talks, which is basically just another Johnson. Going to be interesting how it goes.
  19. Big gamble with Defoe at 39 and hardly played any football in the last 2 years. Could go either way, but probably worth the gamble seeing as he is only signed on to the end of the season.
  20. I wonder if he will now join up to RTG?
  21. It's not twisting though, it's highlighting an area of genuine concern - I personally think there is more twisting from people who don't like to see it when people are not agreeing that there are genuine concerns. We needed a genuine goalscorer before any news on Wood. It could come back to bite us on the arse come the end of the season.
  22. Argee with this mainly, though I have put a 5 as I'm not convinced by the signings of Burn and Targett and I presonally think Wood is a shocker of a signing. I think the lack of goals is a massive issue going forward. I'm far from convinced that this team will be enough to stay up. Personally think there has been too much time spent chasing targets who were either unavailable or just didn't want to come. I had high hopes last night and this morning, which in my opinion has become a bit of a damp quib in the end today, with a final 'scattergun' attempt looking very much like it will not pay dividends either. We will see though, as usual the barometer of different opinions (expected tbf) is in full display .

Especially when it's last minute and just because we couldn't get other players in
