Think you’re forgetting the bid for Botman and the signings of Trippier and Wood. I think you already know I disagree with your philosophy of how the club will be ran. We will wait and see though, as the proof will be in the pudding, as they say.
-
In your opinion, the fact bids (allegedly) are flying in left, right and centre for players doesn’t indicate sustainable investment and nor does that fact Staveley came out that their aim is to win the league in five / ten years time (or she is lying). You don’t get into that position without splashing the cash and heavily.

That bloke has Bullshit Keith and Wraith as two of his best mates. He showed time and again during the takeover that he’s absolutely clueless. Personally wouldn’t take notice of anything he says.
-
True, I think he will stay put.
-
Highly doubt Man U would be keen on letting a player go to a team who are challenging them for a champions league place.
-
Time will tell, we will find out very soon either way
-
That I would imagine would happen if we are relegated. Say it now and it looks like the owners are expecting relegation and there would be more uproar than resting a few nerves. The media would have a field day if they came out with that now. Also looks to players being lined up and already here that the owners don’t think we will survive, not a good move. Leave it until the time comes if we do actually go down.
-
Only chance we have is for minimum 3 (I think 4 or 5) new players to come in. The owners have to stop fucking around for players who are not available and agree fees (even if they have to pay over the odds - too much move on) and get them in hopefully this week. We have three very winnable games coming up if new players are recruited. The onus is very much on the owners now if they want to stay in this league. Pinnacle week I feel coming up.

It's not only the results it's quite obvious he's not motivating the players. I didn't want him by any stretch, but I was expecting an increased fight today for such an important 6 pointer, especially after last week's game. What we got, was pretty much a damp squib repeat of last week, with very little creativity or game management throughout. From the moment we scored, it only looked a matter of time before Watford got back into it. The first half was not much better either despite having more possession. Main reason I didn't want him was his devensive record which was poor and also his record of signing players was also in the main questionable. I also remembered a 'Bruce' team containing Longstaff, Bentaleb, Joelington, Gayle and Shelvey totally dominate his team which was supposedly fighting for survival. I hoped to god I was wrong when he was appointed, but I have seen nothing to suggest I am.

They will make the play offs, but the odds of them getting up automatically are not looking good. As we all know the play offs are a total lottery

Bruce 100% needed to be removed, unfortunately he shouldn’t have been replaced by Howe.
-
And at 25 million (still can’t fucking believe that). I was pissed off when we were linked to him (I thought it was another Edwards wind up) and the fact we actually signed him for that amount, still has me pissed off and shaking my head.
-
I said he would be a disaster when he came, unfortunately he is fully living up to my expectations. That second half (first wasn’t much better) was a team absolutely clueless in possession and how to manage a game. Their goal was coming from the moment we scored, I was just surprised it took so long

With our defensive record you have to worry as the likelihood is that we probably need to score 2 or more to get a win -
3 times pretty sure he was here for the Brentford game also
-
No disrespect to Burnley, but I would say even more so.
-
Cant’t see Origi going anywhere until the Summer as Liverpool are still in all 4 competitions and he’s still being used by Klopp. The fact his contract ends in the Summer will not be a factor to Liverpool imho
-
Don’t particularly like the little cunt, but Bellamy would have been perfect for this team.
-
Wow and 20 fucking million
-
Major incoming sponsorship/commercial revenue moves that needle quite a bit. I don’t expect them to spend £200 this window due to the very fact that it’s a hard window to get deals done, hugely inflated prices and players reluctant to come due to our position. I didn’t say they cannot spend it though, I’m quite sure if the restrictions I mentioned above were not in place, then in all likelihood they would.
-
You said for the summer window, which by then availability for spending limits will have increased within FFP and will be totally different to what it is now. Nobody is expecting to spend 200 million this window, or if they do then they’re misguided.
-
You’re forgetting that is based on how the club currently stands and not on any forthcoming sponsorship/commercial revenue. That could/should by quite significant.
-
Lille will be wanting a bidding war with other clubs to get the best price. This probably won’t go ahead until possibly the last day if the window or the Summer window.

Shares can be diluted or the business can put up the money itself. We don’t know exactly what will happen, but Staveley did say the aim was to go for trophies within 5 - 10 year and you’re not doing that without serious money being spent. So she is either lying about that or that is the actual plans.
