  1. Pretty sure there was no links to Carlos until after the initial bid for Botman had been knocked back. We may have wanted both though still as we signed Burn and Botman (though different windows obviously)
  2. Looks like a UFO got it, as it hasn't moved from Bordeaux
  3. Pretty sure we turned to Carlos after Botman and then Burn
  4. See they're trying to make a point again about getting a bigger crowd for their first game, than we did for the first time we were relegated (no mention of our first home crowd in the second relegation season or the fact they only had 29,500 against Derby in their first game when they were relegated in 2017). I've already covered about how their crowds dropped a lot more when relegated (pre Keegan) a few weeks ago. They haven't got a leg to stand on when trying to compare attendances and never will.
  5. Love when jlaws, skellington and sporty always try and come up with doom and gloom scenarios over on RTG, when it goes a bit quiet. Then when something does occur and their forecasts are shown up as total shit (happened a few times already), they scurry back into their holes for a couple of weeks, shouting blood money
  6. Just read Hope's tweet on Bruno's performance on Saturday. if that is his level of knowledge and how he reads a game, then he shouldn't be a football reporter.
  7. He's no Sunderland fan he's only matched on to then because he has a ready made audience. Him and that jlaw never post on anything Sunderland related, only on us. You just don't do that if you're a Sunderland fan.
  8. So he was still wrong the other day a deal hadn't been agreed
  9. Don't think it was the valuation. It was down to the fact they were still challenging for the league and involved in the Europa League. See Botman also.
  10. You just seem to be repeating the same thing over and over to different people to me. Crack on if you want though, I'll just skip your posts.
  11. As I said yesterday, why don't you just wait and see what happens.
  12. I'll wait for Brighton's confirmation thanks
  13. Problem is the cunt still usually tweets shit even when he is on holiday
  14. I think that's an insult to a dead tree tbf
  15. Well that's one podcast I certainly won't be listening to
  16. Brighton just wouldn't put a statement out, they're not that type of club. You believe what you want to, but at this stage no deal has been agreed as per the Brighton statement. It's Brighton who say yes or no. The agent no doubt wants the deal to happen. I'd believe Brighton any day over any agent or reporter .
  17. If it had been your club I certainly wouldn't have
  18. No waiting to see, what he said today in his tweet is incorrect. If that changes in a couple of days, a week or the end of the window doesn't mean it's right now, as the Brighton statement clearly states. Anyway that's enough from me as I'm not one for blocking up threads
  19. Yeah personally I don't think he's worth 60m, 50m is roughly the right price (he is worth more than 40m though)
  20. As I said above he has a good and wide spread of contacts. He's mostly a tap in merchant though. Then again most are and he does get more right than most (not really hard to do though).
  21. Brighton's a bit different from Lyon. Doesn't alter the fact he said everything was agreed and he was due in London, when that is obviously not the case.
