Not a bad effort at all that, looks canny.

I presume that just a mock up by someone?

I know as I said I just can’t understand why he bought the club. The rumours were that it was for a bit of fun and a laugh. It’s quite obvious it was exactly that especially when you consider that he was out drinking and socialising with the fans, up to when the Keegan fallout. Ever since that day I’m convinced he absolutely detests the support and enjoys sticking his two fingers up (in real life also as we all seen in the photo). Also convinced that he’s more bothered with this takeover for the prospect of cashing in on his product within the Middle East, than he is of making a profit on the club and seeing it develop. The bloke is a grade ‘A’ cunt, who has sucked out any enjoyment of supporting the club.

I’ve got no doubt he’s being fed by the PL and BEin to put their agenda in the media, I’ve thought that all the way through this. You don’t get information contained in a non disclosure letter unless you are. Best just to wait for the decision to be made within the legal cases. I keep saying it, but nobody can be sure, as we don’t have a clue what’s being presented on either side. We just got to hope the perspective dates are this time accurate and we can get a final conclusion to what has become a charade.

Why is it when it goes to appeal (also the case with the arbitration) it goes to a selected chair by the Premier League?, especially when it is a decision by the Premier League that you appealing about. Surely it should be a totally independent authority selected. I obviously don’t know the legalities, just seems to me to open up accusations of unfairness and dare I say it possible corruption.

The year when we finished 5th was the perfect time for Ashley to actually progress the club and his opportunity to move us forward. That summer’s transfer window showed to me he neither wants or requires the club to be competitive. As a businessman (and to be fair a pretty successful one) I’ve never understood his approach of not investing and keeping to his methods of buy cheap, price cheap and sell big. It obviously works in the sporting goods world, but will never work in the Premier League. He is knackered if this specific takeover does not happen as although he may have new buyers, I just can’t see anyone buying the club at the current value, when the infrastructure, the team and the facilities would require a massive investment now to move forward. Maybe he will get another mega rich investment (I doubt it), but I can currently see only a similar type of owner probably being interested. I will turn my back fully this year with him and Bruce still at the helm. I just can’t stomach one game more of these two pricks in charge.

Don't think anyone can answer that with confidence (even people in the legal arena), due to as you mentioned the 'tiny info we know'. Nobody knows what either sides legal case is and what facts and documentation they will present during the case(s). All we can do is just wait for the authorities in their legal popsitions to consider all the evidence and make the decision. I don't take much notice of people (on here, Twitter etc.) saying they are confident or not, as nobody has a clue what cases will be presented by either side.
-
You may well be right, personally I think I’d would have just preferred waiting for the legal cases to play out. So tired of listening to the people on both sides of the fence arguing the same things over and over this last year, when in reality nobody knows what the legal arguments are for either side, which will be presented and what actual documentation each side have to support their argument. Obviously I hope the QCs representing the club have all the aces up their sleeves, as I said nobody but people directly involved with the case will really know. Even then it’s up to the deciding authorities in charge of the cases to make that decision.

IF Keith has documentation now being used by the club in their CAT case, which implicates parties of illegal conduct and helps in our takeover eventually being cleared, then good on him. Nobody knows what the documentation is or what it can actually prove. The one thing I can’t get round is why he needs to disclose certain parts within his Twitter account and on Wraith’s podcast, whilst due to legal confidentiality I presume he can’t state other parts. I think he would have been better keeping quiet and letting the legal process to play out. I’ve heard arguments he’s keeping fans informed and also that it’s to put pressure on the Premier League via public knowledge of their alleged wrongdoings. Just my opinion, but think I’d just prefer to hear when the authorities decide in both cases, instead of hearing both negative and positive bites on Twitter (and here) based mainly on conjecture. Nobody really knows exactly what legal arguments are being presented and what actual documentation these arguments will show.

Yeah most of the Benitez period players have regressed. I’d also argue that if Benitez had still been here then most of those would probably still not be at the club. Ashley’s lack of investment means that they are and obviously playing under a coach as bad as Bruce they have regressed. Rafa was able to get some level of performance from these players. It’s so annoying seeing Bruce getting some backing with regards to investment (still nowhere near enough), compared to Rafa who basically was left with selections way down his list.

Probably City as never had time for Chelsea

Benteke if he could give you the same form that he ended the season with, would be a possible replacement for Carroll. Unfortunately his form in general over the last four years has been terrible and the fact that Palace are still letting him go despite that end of season form, means it would be too much of a gamble for me. Bruce however I think may be interested as he was waxing lyrical about a similar player in Mitrovich earlier in the season.
-
Not sure about that actually as he was available just about all season and even Bruce didn’t fancy him. Don’t know how much his personal issues have affected his all round game, but he wasn’t very good at all in his time here. Shame if it is his personal issues as he’s still at a decent age and was a very decent player for a few years. He is rumoured to want to be nearer to his home place, but can’t see Leeds being interested or other Premier League clubs to be honest. Maybe Boro or a Championship team if he’s prepared to take a big wage cut. Or maybe he wants to actually retire as he said he was looking forward to the days when his career was over.

At one time I didn’t mind too much any English team winning the European trophies. Now though I get great satisfaction in seeing them (the super league 6) all lose and when there is two of these teams in the final it comes down to which one I dislike the most. Is it jealousy, bitterness or the fact that the league, media and tv channels kiss their arses and actively make it that no other club exists. Fuck them and a belated well done to Villarreal last night.

Pre-Season 2021/22 - Newcastle United 3-0 Norwich City

Thing is, I know with Covid it makes the logistics of playing teams from abroad more difficult, but it’s the same every season. Playing a few top level teams within the preseason programme is surely a better preparation for being ready for when the PL starts. I can understand playing a couple of games against lower level opposition, but we seem to only play games against mainly all teams from leagues below. -
I don’t mind it, but it’s old looking in my opinion and would need several modifications and a more updated look. Don’t mind the current badge either and if it was a straight choice between the two badges as they stand, I would keep the current badge. Be interesting to see if the rumours actually do have any substance and there are plans in the background for changing the badge.

Ask Man City fans they say the same, but even though it does piss them off a bit, they can enjoy a total enjoyment of watching great football and an ever increasing amount of trophies. If we are lucky enough to actually get this takeover, we will no doubt receive even more bad press than Man City, but we can look forward to having a club trying to achieve the best they can and probably going onto a different level. We didn’t win anything under Keegan (and to a lesser extent Robson), but those days of actually being excited about going to a game and being entertained is the one thing I would love to witness again. The next few months is probably our final chance for an eternity for that to happen. I’m at the stage of finally turning my back for what could be a probable number of years on something I love deeply and had over 40 years of being a season ticket holder (through good and bad). I just can’t take one more year of Ashley dismantling the enjoyment brick by brick any longer.

With the SCMP rules in place, he can't overspend
-
He could actually be the one player who could actually make a difference as he does usually (apart from the mackems) have a decent scoring record at that level. However, I get the impression he doesn't want to be there and the management/fans don't want hime there either, so think he will be sold.
-
Massive rebuild required, which will be interesting to see how it pans out. Could be a massive disaster or it could be a decent opportunity to refresh an agine and very slow squad. They have a billionaire owner (when he gets his trust funds anyway), but his hands are tied massively with the League 1 and 2 SCMP rules. Be interesting to see if they keep McGeady and Wyke as failure to do so means they will have to replace their two most influential signings in terms of output to the team. The league next year could be the most difficult to get out of compared to the last three years they've been in the third division.

Allan Saint-Maximin (now playing for Fenerbahce, on loan from Al-Ahli)

The talent is certainly there and with proper coaching and attitude he could go far. You’re right though would one of the so called ‘super league’ teams be prepared to take that chance. Maybe an Everton, Leicester or West Ham would. He is also quite injury prone which may also put teams off. Been thinking on this today actually and unless one of the three teams I listed takes a chance, I can see clubs waiting to see his output over the next season first. Maybe one of the top teams will think that with better players around him, that his game and output will improve dramatically - I believe it maybe would also. He’s still only 24 also. Ashley mind will be asking top dollar for him and he is usually a stickler for getting big fees for players with value. -
I see according to the Mirror it’s 8.5 million more between 12th and 17th with us getting 17 million and Burnley 8.5. Massive difference highlighted even more when you consider Man City get 38 million. Ashley will be pleased no doubt even though the thick cunt doesn’t seem to appreciate that investment would come straight back in terms of increased revenue, which would also nearly certainly have led to a higher price for the value of the club that he could have achieved as a direct result. I know he’s always made money from cheap prices to increase demand, but you would have thought even he would have realised after 14 years that football in the premier league does not operate in that way. Mind looking from the cunts point of view he will still make a decent profit from any sale and has had the perfect advertisement for his brand for no cost over nearly the entire period of his ownership. His brand of how he conducts business is a stopper for any investment to ensure year on yeAr growth. We all know this though as it’s literally all there in black and white.
