  1. Wasn’t sure if it was £2m per position. Must admit never took notice before as means nothing under Ashley anyway.
  2. Since before the games started we could have still finished 17th does the 12th position mean we (or Ashley I should say) get an extra 10 million prize money, difference between 17th and 12th? Not looked at the money for each position in the league so not sure

It’s been a dream loan move for both the club and certainly the player. His stock has risen ten fold. Deserves a lot of credit with his excellent attitude and I think he’s genuinely loved his time here. This besides the fact that Bruce unbelievably left him on the bench for a few games.
  4. Mind Fulham are terrible, they knock it about ok but are so toothless it’s unreal.
  5. Lincoln are like scared rabbits in the headlights. They are being bullied all over the pitch.
  6. See the referee in the Blackpool game is that useless cunt from the infamous Ritchie penalty farce
  7. He is as their good spell of form fitted in when he was brought back into the fold. They would miss him as he’s the one player they have who can win a game on his own at that level. Seemingly they can get round it by putting him on the bench and bringing him on, as it’s only actual starts which trigger the contract deal. Mind if they go down that road I would imagine he would not be too happy as it would be done to deliberately stop him getting the deal. Be interesting to see what happens, I would imagine with the money he’s on they will be reluctant for the extra year being triggered on the same wage. Could see him not being involved at all to be honest.
  8. Aye that bloke has single handedly caused 14 years of a total lack of investment and the club being totally static at best during the biggest boom period for the Premier League. You could make some excuses for the last person who oversaw a similar period within the 80s (McKeag) as he didn’t have the finances. The fact that this cunt did/does have the resources to invest and grow the business, but has continually refused is forever unforgivable. All you have to do is look at the photos of multimillion pound players using paddling pools and wheelie bins to hate the cunt, for making these last 14 years a total and utterly pointless period, apart from the appreciation of certain players briefly within that time.
  9. With all the negative headlines and for it playing out so long, I honestly don’t think they would be doing this just to be a club living within their means albeit with increased revenue. That’s not within the Saudi mentality. Just my opinion.

The fact he is only 21 shows there is plenty of improvement also. The big questions now are, does Arteta actually want him in the first team next year or in fact if he actually even wants to keep him. He may want to loan him out again for another year to continue his overall game time and improvement. This may then well be our only chance of getting him back as the loan spell has went so well. If Arteta is wanting to cash in on his current standing, then he will be at another club as no chance Ashley will pay the money if he is still the owner this summer (likely).
  11. He’ll be totally gutted tonight as I honestly think that after the last few games he thought he would get an easy ride. Mind so did I, so well done to the ones in a crowd (sounded like a few also) who give him the stick he deserved.
  12. Oh dear how very sad
  13. First twenty minutes was poor until they realised that giving the ball to St Max was the way to go. To be fair from then played some decent stuff.
  14. By the legals not the media. It went to the high court for that exact reason imho.
  15. One positive is that his conduct and decisions will be scrutinised with a fine tooth comb now. Just have to wait and see as nobody knows the evidence or arguments being put forward by both sides.
  16. yeah think you’re right, let’s be honest if the Reubens were so keen then they have more than enough money to take full control of the club themselves.
  17. Amazing to think only a few short weeks ago everyone was thinking this was a must win to even have a chance to stay up. Crazy how the last few weeks have went when you think about it.
  18. Too many of the pundits are totally biased towards the top 6. They try to give the impression that they are not, but just can’t help themselves. We have so many poor ex footballers as pundits now it’s laughable.

Don’t know who will agree, but I thought even in his first season here on loan, I thought the last couple of months his form went backwards after a great first three months. The lad has got talent, but there are certainly big question marks about his attitude. His second season on loan was basically a non event for the full time he was here.

Agree still think we need another midfielder on top and I have to say our central defence has been far from solid this year. Right back also, but if Ashley is still the owner nothing will happen as we know.

If he isn’t here next year, be great to see the next time he plays up here that he gets a standing ovation. Has a great attitude, seems to have genuinely enjoyed his loan spell and most importantly has had a massive impact on the pitch (despite the clown benching him for those games). I’m sure he will get the thanks from the fans his efforts have deserved. With everything I’ve stated above and the fact he is still so young and has a lot of potential to improve. Probably only the second player I have wanted to keep from the many we have had on loan, since Alan Brown in that magic month spell he had on loan from the mackems.
  22. It's amazing what genuine pressure does to teams when it matters.
  23. Yeah that's a true point, don't agree the reasons why, but previous transfer history shows that's how it happens.
  24. Fingers crossed then, hopefully we will see some action and more direction as to what's happening and possible timelines in the near future.
