Still got to be changed for APT being unlawful and that is certainly not minor. For a start FMV will be a lot different in Saudia Arabia than it will be in the UK. Aye the premier league really going to knock back a sponsorship from a Saudi company and face the high likelihood now they will be straight in court. The Premier League are full of shite and Masters and co will certainly try to downplay things. Time will tell though, but I disagree with your thinking
-
Any reference to APT has to be taking out of the rules as it' unlawful or the rules amended to match up with UK law
-
Panel have said it's unlawful as was always the case, Premier League can bleat on as much as they want, as anything they try which goes against UK law will be challenged immediately in the courts. How can they assess what is fair market value in Saudia Arabia. Newcastle and City are going to have a field day for any decision that the Premier League try to stop.

Yankuba Minteh (now playing for Brighton & Hove Albion)
et tu brute replied to 54's topic in Football
Not by PSR though we sold him for over £30m and that's the essential part as well as the fee we received for Minteh. By all accounts, the player who was going, if the deals for the two players were not agreed (even one of them), was Gordon. He is both short term and long term for the club; and as it currently stood was far more important than the two players sold. I'm of the opinion that the club thought Bruno's transfer sale figure would be triggered and that he would be the player leaving. When it wasn't the fire sale then started. The question to be asked is when are our revenue levels going to be increased; and when we are going to hear about stadium/training ground/commercial deals as this is very much the key factor in how the club will progress. This is the key element of the process. -
Need to have him back asap as his passing between the lines and long ball accuracy is massively missing. Dan Burn defensively has been decent, but his constant sideways/back to pope passing is totally neglecting our play. No player should be passing back to Pope, but he's not the only one guilty of this. His long ball passing often goes out of play also.
-
Because he's not a very good player and just has the odd moments. He wasn't good enough for Man U and is more often than not on the bench at Forest. I was gobsmacked we had put a bid in for him, a bit like the main player in the thread who is a bang average defender worth nowhere near the reported bid. Massive window coming up and we can't make the same mistakes
-
Not been impressed by Hayles either she does virtually nothing and offers very little
-
Can't understand why Potts is not playing either, she is the best defender and best passer in the team
-
Looks like a season of consolidation as the two forwards are just not good enough. We have virtually dominated all of the games but the fact we have only scored five goals in the four games is telling. First half should have been two or three up. Second half a bit more even.
-
Should be ahead, Durham only had one opportunity whereas we have wasted countless (same coaching as men ). We are a quality striker from winning this league imo
-
Get in please that would be a relief
-
I totally disagree with you. leave it at that, you're entitled to your opinion as am I. You think I'm talking utter bollocks and I think you are
-
No just stating things as I see, as I have for 50 years watching the team. I praise when deserved and criticise when deserved. I'll put it another way, I think some people (especially on here) won't criticise anything. I totally don't accept that was a good performance against a totally shit Everton team and if you're not happy about that, then tough I'm entitled to my opinion every much as you and I everyone else
-
Watch the games again, your trying to put an argument that because we had more possession in the final third against an absolutely shocking Everton team and as a result more play in the final third which we fucked up it's a one off. We have squandered passes and been guilty of poor final passes in every game including Man City (Longstaff, Murphy). You're not going to get European football, never mind winning anything if you can only rely on worldies or pens. We're not going to agree though
-
It's not utter bollocks, everything we have created in previous games has been wasteful or not taken. Just because we get more possession against a totally shit Everton team and have more of the ball in the final third doesn't make the point less true
-
It isn't a single match though it's been basically every game this season
-
That is poor then, no use playing well up to the final third as that doesn't win you games. The transfer window is coming home to roost and whoever's decided to only concentrate and bid stupid on an average defender wants their arses kicked. The fact Murphy and Almiron are still consistently getting game time after three years is unreal s I said earlier
-
I'm pissed off with that mind, the lack of quality in the final third this season has been woeful, even when we have had Isak available. How the fuck Murphy and Almiron are still the first choice right wingers is unreal.
-
The fucking bias from Carragher is fucking disgraceful

Cabbage patch doll on she is an absolute joke -
Even the first goal had a huge element of luck about it
-
I think the capacity now is 46,000 for some reason, maybe segregation now they have moved the away fans
-
Big three games coming up, here I think we will have a better indication on whether the team can actually challenge. Durham home, Sunderland away, then Charlton home will give us a canny idea of where we stand.
-
Howe has certainly changed his tune a lot on the stadium. Me thinks he has inside information.
