  1. it will be a walk in the park like the cup game was. We didn't even have to get out of second gear and it was still the easiest derby win I've ever seen. That team has not one player who is premier league standard. The only thing that I didn't want is them getting the parachute payments when they go down, as mean they might become a yo-yo club instead of slipping further into oblivion.
  2. Sheffield want their arses kicked for that. They had the mackem cunts by the balls and then fucking started playing passes between their defenders from the 60th minute. You don't have the quality of player to control a game that way. Only takes one moment to change a game and that's what happened. Hamer going off was the big changing point and Moore for that winner fuck me. Mind that Sunderland team have not one premier league player in there and will be whipping boys next year. £20 million of the budget already gone now and their team is still the same.
  3. Inspiration speech to the players maybe?
  4. I hope the fans just ignore that rat faced mackem cunt. It's about the team on Sunday not that cunt
  5. One thing I suppose is that Man U will be required to turn up and at least try to compete on Sunday, with a demanding crowd ready to bay for blood. However, even if the do go full out, that Man U team is just so poor, that if Villa play anything like a decent level, they will still have more than enough to win. Only hope is that Villa feel the pressure and Man U give a similar performance when they played ok and managed to get results against City, Arsenal and Liverpool. Up to us though as we all know, I would just love Villa to miss out as their fans are a bunch of cunts.
  6. I thought the Europa League winners were automatically put into Pot 1.
  7. I was just going to post that Sky have more than enough channels to actually cover every game if they so desired, but certainly more than the current advertised number.

    Lloyd Kelly

The fact we got so much after signing him on a free is an absolute master stroke. He hardly played and when he did (apart from the Chelsea cup game), he didn't impress. I thought we also got decent money for Almiron.
  9. Be interesting if he still does. Was it dependent on champions league football? Can Man U now afford to pay so much on one player?
  10. I think the owners are totally committed to the lasses team and like the men's team, they want to see them competing at the top end of all competitions. I did wonder when Staveley left, if the same commitment would be shown, but this is certainly not the case thankfully. The latest news that a new Director of Women's Football is being appointed, backs this up also. I think we will see a big upgrade in the level of player being signed this summer. Last season, the signings were of mainly mid table championship level and we needed more players of a higher level. As above I expect this to change this summer. As I've said a few times before I am not convinced if the current manager is at the level we require, but I certainly hope she proves me wrong this season coming.
  11. It's crazy that a draw for us may well be enough, but I certainly don't want to be in that position for the final few minutes.
  12. Definitely, that's why I said we need to ensure that we continue to push forward and look to kill the game off. It only takes one mistake (like last season against these), a deflection and or a screamer from 30 yards to see us miss out when only 1 - 0 up. We managed it against Chelsea, but the crowd and players were as nervy as fuck that second half. A better header from James for a very decent chance and we would be looking for miracles on Sunday. Crowd has to play their part full game also. Of course there are going to be nerves, but against Chelsea it was blatantly obvious and the players will have known this also.
  13. Probably the same as Reading - money. Trouble at Wolverhampton also, as the club didn't put the application form in to join the championship. The players were only told before their last game and so they played the whole season for nothing. The lasses seemingly are disgusted by this, so Wolves may have to find a whole new team. Again they reckon it's due to money.
  14. I'm just looking forward to a transfer window when there is no shite about no signings coming in. I actually think it will be a busy transfer season window for us incoming and outgoing.
  15. Aye he reminds me of Maxi. On his day an absolute nightmare to play against, but, those days are in the minority. Mbueno would be my choice by a mile.
  16. I'm going on that we are a far better team player for player and also that if the team has the same determination as they did in the semi against Arsenal and the final against Liverpool, we will just have far too much for a team with nothing to play for.
  17. Not seen anything of him at Everton (never watch any of their games except against us), I was quite impressed with him when he was at Southampton though. You're right about Doucoure, but that could also be down to Moyes preferring a stronger presence in midfield.
  18. No I don't think he would, but if an offer comes in, which matches (or goes above) the valuation, then he may well do. He accepts this as per his interview and as I said above, I'm convinced if his release clause has been activated, he would have been sold.
  19. Also that video was absolutely amazing. It showed that through his parents and friends (him looking after his friends and vice versa was great to see), he was raised in a very loving and caring environment. We all know what a special person he is and that video illustrated totally the reasons why. He's not on the pitch though which is great to see.
  20. I did find his wording in his recent interview about a move which is good for the club interesting. I have no doubt he would be more than happy to stay a few more years, but, I also think that if the club did get an offer, which is too good to turn down, he also accepts that he will then move. Last summer I am still of the opinion that the club were expecting his release clause to be activated, and that when it wasn't, we then saw panic stations happen.
  21. Also on Gordon, I think his problem is that he takes everything to heart and mulls on things for a period of time. The debacle of his lack of game time in the summer from England and then seeing reports of possibly being sold, definitely affected him at the start of the season. Whether it was due to him being frustrated that the club was even considering the move or if he actually wanted the move, will probably come out in the future. Currently I think his form (same as start of the season) is most likely due to not being first choice again upon his return. We have seen at Brentford a couple of years ago that he can get very frustrated at relatively slight occurrences. I would neither be surprised if he is still here and has a great season next year or that he may be possibly sold if the club receive an offer they find acceptable. Any abuse of him through social media (and any player) is abhorrent. You will find that most of these people, will be ones who have a handful of games that they have attended.
  22. I totally disagreed with you then and I still do Mind even I'm surprised how little game time he has had for a good few months. He will be away this summer as we move onto the next stage.
  23. If we get the lead, then I would hope that Howe has told the players that we have to keep pushing forward to finish the game (I'm sure he will but he needs to drill the players on this.l). Don't want another Chelsea where everyone's nerves are on edge. Look at last season's game, totally controlling the game, and then a stupid error and the three points are gone. They are going to be weakened already, and it's looking like they won't improve/worsen their current position l, so Moyes might want to look at players who haven't had as much game time. Either way, we have a team with far superior players, let's make it count.
