The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League
et tu brute replied to Rich's topic in Football
I agree (I'm quite confident we can get a result on Sunday also). I'm probably thinking of t-Rex having an absolute blinder. He's love nothing better than to be the one who stopped is qualifying. Overall though, I'm pretty confident we will get over the line and I'm not even convinced we will actually need three points. -

Just got to make sure (if we require three points last game), that we don't have another Leicester game from two years ago. -

Seems unbelievable, but could City actually be the team which misses out. Unlikely I know, but they are against two teams who can cause problems (as we know). Bournemouth and Fulham not in the best of form though either. -
Encouraging hearing Howe basically saying we're in a good position for the summer market. I certainly wasn't expecting that, as he has always been super cautious in the past. For the first time in about four windows, it's not going to be the usual frustration this time me thinks.

Chelsea's away form is not too good either. Forest will want to win at home either way. Though I may be a bit concerned if Forest lose at West Ham, leaving them nothing to play for and possible squad rotation. At end of the day it's up to us, one win out of the two games and ensuring we don't get a honking if we lose the other game, will see us qualify. -
They think their team is prime Brazil and we're prime Wimbledon, the thick fuckers
-
It will be just a tick box exercise with the fans.

I thought he was a little fortunate not to get another booking and a red for this. There are more than a few of the other referees who would have.

Howe indicated he didn't think they would be back for the rest of the season. -
No chance I would play Barnes with Saka on that side. He just doesn't cover back whilst Gordon does.
-
If you look at all the training sessions, he has a strapping just above the calf area. He's carrying an injury, but Howe isn't going to come out and say this. I'm certain he will though when the season is over.
-
Did exactly the same against Arsenal. He is our number one defender, as his passing opens space into midfield and also opens up the wing
-
Totally agree also his lack of back tracking was causing us problems in the second half. Thought he was poor today and his touch was totally off.
-
The commentator said he had Shearer's name on the back also

To be fair doesn't matter really If either had their full teams out, as they have been total shit all season -
Same numpty has been saying the same thing the last 7 games
-
The daft broken cunts posting over there, that they're not interested in us, never pay any attention, don't know who we are playing. All within a thread about us in the champions league. You just can't make it up
-
Aye the bloke is a total spanner.
-
Cunts are totally broken. I see the thread has been pulled already. Cowards to a man, it's gone literally immediately when we win and yet when we lose, it usually lasts at least a day. Mind sporty was showing his bitterness and spouting his usual clueless shite. As he reckons we will be another Leicester, as if we don't regularly get champions league football we won't have the funds. The total spanner conveniently ignoring (there's a forst) who actually owns the club, Absolute knacker that bloke is.
-
Plus super Hume whom they worship. The same player who got his arse tormented by Gordon all game and Joelinton for the opener.
-
I'm not convinced, but maybe I'm biased as Villa are one of my top disliked clubs.
-
I see Scott of Bournemouth has been confirmed as suffering a broken jaw in that incident with Mings. I thought it was deliberate and reckless and should have been a red card. Redknapp saying it was more to do with the height of the two players at half time i thought was utter shit, Mings knew what he was doing there and as I said definite intent. What are other people's thoughts?

Who's next? -
Been impressed by him every time I've seen him. Still wouldn't be surprised if he is another Alvarez though, and at another club in a couple of seasons.
