  1. Also on Gordon, I think his problem is that he takes everything to heart and mulls on things for a period of time. The debacle of his lack of game time in the summer from England and then seeing reports of possibly being sold, definitely affected him at the start of the season. Whether it was due to him being frustrated that the club was even considering the move or if he actually wanted the move, will probably come out in the future. Currently I think his form (same as start of the season) is most likely due to not being first choice again upon his return. We have seen at Brentford a couple of years ago that he can get very frustrated at relatively slight occurrences. I would neither be surprised if he is still here and has a great season next year or that he may be possibly sold if the club receive an offer they find acceptable. Any abuse of him through social media (and any player) is abhorrent. You will find that most of these people, will be ones who have a handful of games that they have attended.
  2. I totally disagreed with you then and I still do Mind even I'm surprised how little game time he has had for a good few months. He will be away this summer as we move onto the next stage.
  3. If we get the lead, then I would hope that Howe has told the players that we have to keep pushing forward to finish the game (I'm sure he will but he needs to drill the players on this.l). Don't want another Chelsea where everyone's nerves are on edge. Look at last season's game, totally controlling the game, and then a stupid error and the three points are gone. They are going to be weakened already, and it's looking like they won't improve/worsen their current position l, so Moyes might want to look at players who haven't had as much game time. Either way, we have a team with far superior players, let's make it count.
  4. Aye the cunts just couldn't take being shown up in court due to ineffective rules, whereas one of the cartel clubs are blatantly taking the piss again due to ineffective rules, but fuck all is being said about that.
  5. If Palce win it will be interesting to see what actual team Everton put out, as they will have nothing to play for

    Joe Willock

We have to be looking to move him on. His injury record is poor and he certainly isn't performing to a level where he's even a good backup option from the bench. We could still probably get 15-20 million for him, which will add to the funds from Almiron and Kelly (hopefully Longstaff also). With the PSR room we have and hopefully Champions League revenue, we could be in a decent position to greatly improve the squad.
  7. PSR obviously also, that's why it's important we get champions league football.
  8. He can't be given a new contract. Always be remembered as a good level striker for the club, but he offers virtually nothing now. No doubt his injuries have majorly taken their toll, but the time has come.
  9. Yeah been a great season so far (and hopefully even better next Sunday), but we need to improve our away form against teams in the top half of the table. Also as has been mentioned elsewhere, there is a number of times when our second half performance has dropped. Hopefully we can rectify this in the summer, as the standard of the majority of players we have on the bench this season, are not of the required level to change games when needed.
  10. Them and Villa fans love a non existent rivalry with us. We should take it as a compliment really.
  11. That's up to us to make sure we don't. We tore apart one of the most in form teams in Palace, in a match when Isak should have scored another three goals.
  12. Those three defeats were all against teams in the top 6. They are also in all likelihood going to be missing basically their first choice defence.
  13. If we can't beat Everton, then we don't deserve champions league football. We're playing a team with nothing to play for and highly likely with most of their first choice defence missing. If we play anything like we have recently at home, then we will win. One thing is important though is that if we go ahead, then we must not sit back. We need to then take the game by the scruff of the neck and look to finish the game off. We don't want a situation of sitting back and the nerves amongst the players and the crowd rising. Fans have to do their job also and support the team throughout, it was noticeable that within the second half against Chelsea, the nerves of the crowd was starting to effect the players also. Obviously there are going to be nerves, with such an importance on the win, but need to keep the support constant throughout the match. This game is massive for being able to have increased revenue to strengthen the team with higher quality and a higher number of players being able to be signed. I'm quite sure Villa, Forest and Chelsea fans would far prefer our fixture.
  14. Surprise, surprise, the cowardly fucks still have our match thread up
  15. So does the actual 7th place finish, then go to 8th?
  16. Be interesting to see how Man City recover as they could be in trouble if they don't. Bournemouth and Fulham have nothing to play for, so that probably will come into it now
  17. Is his contract up at the end of the season? or does the club have an option of a one year extension? Be interesting to see what happens in the summer anyway.
  18. Firstly it has four towers then 😎 and secondly where is the actual walls between the towers. Even the current badge doesn't show the castle correctly
  19. Depends on Forest's result on Sunday, as if they don't win l, then we likely don't even need another point to finish above them. Chelsea if we lose, we would need to match their result and keep ahead in the goal difference (we have scored more goals so finishing level will mean we still finish ahead) and Villa we just have to match their result.
  20. 178 posts on something that will never happen, full of their usual bullshit faux outrage. Desperate comes to mind
  21. Why the three castles though? or are they towers, which is incorrect also
  22. Definitely, obviously Saka is playing this time, but if we put in the same level of performance, like we did in both legs of the semis and the final, then we are a match for any team.
