  1. Obviously the clubs who were supposed to be in favour of voting have had their minds changed (Leicester, Chelsea and Everton). Man City will be straight in the courts again and we await the tribunal clarification. If the tribunal clarify the rules are unlawful (likely), then the Premier League are in a difficult position. Let's see what Man City say as they usually release a statement.
  2. You're not taking into account other events which can be held at a new stadium. Unable to do this currently with the size of the entrance /exits into the stadium. The executives said yesterday that the revenue would be double that of SJP. Extending the current stadium would be at a huge cost with very little opportunity for revenue growth. A new stadium is just a no brainer all round.
  3. They are trying to head off the tribunal ruling as they know it will be open season if the current rules are deemed unlawful. If it is passed tomorrow (I still think it will be pulled tomorrow like last time), and the tribunal do state the rules were unlawful, then Man City will be straight in appeal again and I think this time will be joined by the other clubs against.
  4. It will be what the owners want, the fan involvement is just a tick mark exercise.
  5. On top of that revenue loss (every penny is important for PSR), you will have a massive cost for a limited number of additional seats, which is just not financially feasible imo. Doesn't matter anyway, it seems pretty obvious that a decision has been made and that it is now being drip fed to the support
  6. Nothing to stop us though or city as there would be no lawful rule in place
  7. Not if the 7 reported clubs against vote to reject. There may be other clubs also
  8. If the Tribunal state that the current law is unlawful (they have been requested to confirm) and the vote fails (likely), then it's open season as their will be no rules to stop clubs making sponsorship deals Everton also
  9. A new stadium will get the majority vote now in any case. It's an absolute no brainer in every way. The decision has already been made anyway, they are just cleverly slowly rolling it out. Even Howe when he was last asked about the stadium had changed tune.
  10. Where was this is it something you have been to? Just come on, if I've missed something
  11. I watched the game and in my opinion he was one of Brazil's best players. He got turned for the goal outside of the box, but he never give the ball away, passing rate was excellent and he played 4 sublime through balls during the match. The Brazil fans need to look further up field as to who is to blame as Brazil dominated the match
  12. We will see on Friday, all you need is 7 clubs to say no and they won't be passed. According to reports a few weeks ago, more clubs were coming on board with regards to APT. If the tribunal state that the current rules are unlawful and the Premier League can't get their desperate attempt to pass new rules, then it's open season until new rules are passed. Man City have played a blinder here.
  13. The wind is ensuring these rules are not passed and the tribunal confirming that the rules are void. Then it's open season
  14. The winds are changing direction rather quickly
  15. 40% of our catchment are fish I'm not eating cod again
  16. This is the Jobe who left for a pittance and not one premiership club attempted to sign him. There is a reason why he is currently playing championship football at Sunderland. If he does eventually get an opportunity to play premiership football, then we can start comparing him to Miley. Miley has still a lot to prove, but he's achieved far more than Poundland Jobe so far
  17. Suppose depends where you're from then, I was born at the Green in Wallsend, but lived all through my childhood and teens in Walker and everyone used to go by the one I mentioned. You're right though it is a bit meaningless especially coming from a mackem cunt.
  18. I'm in my 50's and have always been told from an early age and class now, that a Geordie is someone who is born in a location set on the banks of the river Tyne. Also that the name Geordie comes from the time when we sided with George the 1st (George's men Geordies) against the Jacobites. Talk of the Stephenson lamp also being mentioned as where the name comes from, but the George 1st affiliation is documented during the Jacobite uprising time, so the term Geordie more likely comes from that, rather than the lamp imho. Mind those thick fuckers across there are full of just blatant lies, which they make up and start to believe. The cowards then ban anyone who try's to correct them.
  19. Hall been good, Tino ok and Gordon poor (though he has two men on him every time he gets the ball)
  20. I don't think she is, I think she is totally out of her depth. Love to be proven wrong obviously
  21. Yeah fair point, but there still is a massive difference between the two divisions even for women's football
  22. If he was as good as they say he is (he's certainly not), then he would have signed for a higher club than them, when he left Birmingham for a relevant pittance. As for Miley, he has just come back from injury after being out for months.
  23. The clubs are only 13 miles apart the daft cunt. They try everything to justify why we're a far bigger club and have far bigger support. Even that thread is about championship attendances, but as always it comes back to us. Daft cunts
