  1. Manager very lucky as she had an absolute nightmare there. Takes off the top scorer, leaves Barker on and then refuses to put on Kelly (last season's player of the year) or Gibson who has scored in every game at SJP. No change in formation or tactics either. The standard in this division is pretty poor.apart from a 20 minute spell from Birmingham, I've not been impressed by any team. Crowd of only 11,000 also and to be fair that's not surprising judging by the standard. If the owners are looking for super league football, then a change of manager and an upgrade in players is required.
  2. Can't legislate for the goal. Manager has had a nightmare lately. Drops Boddy arguably the best (or one of) player this season. We're being totally bullied in midfield and as much as I like Barker's endeavour, she is the female Almiron. Can't understand why Watts was brought on also, when Greenwood played centre half virtually all season last year. Going forward, as has been all season, we look pretty poor and have nobody to hold the ball up. Only player looking any real danger is Lumsden. Standard has been horrendous also and I think this is the reason crowds have dropped game by game at SJP. As a Newcastle supporter I obviously love to see all our teams doing well, but it certainly is a hard watch.
  3. https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/sam-fender.1644354/post-41760466 I see they're having another meltdown over Sam Fender. How he wasn't interested in football until the takeover and that he's not a real Geordie because he comes from North Shields . Honestly, what a bunch of sad desperate cunts they are
  4. I thought you spat your dummy out
  5. We did, but we would have with Tonali being there also. Tonali was excellent in both games he came on and helped change massively the game on Sunday.
  6. We did get the result against Chelsea though, with Tonali being man of the match and playing with Joelington and Willock for the first time in that formation this season. He certainly didn't deserve to get dropped the next game. Kaka has it exactly right above and STMs formation a page or two back is the one to go with.
  7. As I said above you can't compare like for like as Tonali has hardly played with Joelington and Willock. The one game he did, he was man of the match and we beat Chelsea. He was also man of the match for Italy the other day also. Let Tonali (the better player by some distance), play in the same formation with Willock and Joelington and we will soon see which player is more beneficial for the system we play.
  8. How many times have Joelington and Willock been playing with Tonali? The time he played with both we beat Chelsea and Tonali was man of the match. Longstaff gets stick because he has far more poor games than he does good games.
  9. Poundland Jobe (great name to the person who came up with it) would be nowhere near Sunderland, if he was even half the player his brother was. He would have been snapped up at Birmingham for a start and not ended up at the mackems. As for Cirkin, he cost literally pennies from Tottenham and they had a buy back clause within the contract; which has now finished, with Tottenham not being interested in buying him back. We saw the same shite with Clarke, who went for £15 million (not the £30 - 40 million they were spouting) and has mostly been on the bench for a struggling Ipswich. Faux rage fantasy land cunts the lot of them.
  10. The results have actually dipped also over the last few games. Listening to the lasses show with the ex England player Aran Embleton she was critical of the lineup and formation (I was watching the men's game) and very critical of Andrews. Must admit not been impressed at all by her either and can never understand how she starts just about every game. We can still get promoted and still have some d cent games out of the next four, but it may then require a splash out in the January transfer window
  11. If I'm correct, haven't the attendances actually reduced with each game at St James
  12. They're shit scared we're marching towards them. Whilst we left the PL, then entered the worst period in the clubs entire history, and are now 1 position below the PL, they have achieved and done fuck all. Just stood still. We are on a march towards their shit tip, and when we arrive we will once again make them our collective bitch. Has to be someone on a wind up surely
  13. Maybe, but he's not wrong
  14. Might, might not, but at this present time they are in the bottom half
  15. They weee second best in all those games though, as mentioned before their performances don't match the results. Let's see where they are in February as if they are still up there playing the way they are currently, then that division is really the pits
  16. The vast majority of their games have been against teams in the bottom half of the table. Every time I see them play they have looked anything but table toppers and have been largely very lucky to win. This championship is the worst I have seen in years and the lack of quality very much noticeable.
  17. Let's just say you're correct (I don't think you are as there will be season ticket holders who will not be able to go and work will have to also take place on the East and Milburn stand to incorporate any extension), it makes no difference as there will still be a lot of revenue lost from match going fans not attending, which will directly effect PSR as it currently stands. As you said though hopefully we won't find out.
  18. Totally different as you have Metro incursions with any building work, you didn't have that with the leazes end. Why do you think the reported cost is so large.
  19. The owners aren't going to fork out the money that it would cost (with no returns from the limited amount of seats it could extend to) and a loss in current revenue whilst any extension takes place. That's besides the people who would lose their seats for a season or two. Don't understand how people still can't see this.
  20. I don't think it will continue long term and the Saudis won't accept 6 - 10 either
  21. He wouldn't even get near their squads never mind the first team.
  22. Don't accept that as to me, playing Tonali in Longstaff's position and Bruno further forward would make us a lot better and give more creativity. As for the first part, everyone was saying it would be mental not to start Tonali after the Chelsea game. I think a lot of people forget how poor Longstaff has been in a lot of games. End of the day it's the manager's decision and he will be judged on everything at the end of the season.
