Thanks I never read the article, so was just asking the question. I see the usual doom patrol are on the march again
-
No I don't know but they were her messages, so was just asking, how do you know that it definitely wasn't?
-
Has it been identified who leaked the WhatsApp messages, was it Staveley?
-
They were weak nobody is arguing that. Burn was out of position though. Your central defenders should not be 30 yards apart on a free kick situation. If any forward moves back to the half way line then we certainly have the physicality in the midfield department to deal with that. It also leaves the position of a ball being played in behind, with a player with no pace being left wide open.
-
He was out of position for the goal despite what mr clueless says. I actually mentioned in one of my posts that I don't think he's bad defensively and has been our best defender this season. His limitations with the ball and his total lack of pace are an issue though.
-
Kick off is twice a game and I've yet to see any defender on the halfway line. Or do you mean goal kicks and free kicks, again the City keeper usually gets it a lot further than the half way line (when he does kick that long which he very rarely does). Set plays he is never even near the 6 yard box as he usually takes a position wide of the goal. With his size he should be dominating everyone in the air. As for Welbeck he should be in a position to cover the other central defender and vice versa. He does not have the pace or technique to cover players on the halfway line and he certainly shouldn't be anywhere near the opposition box in open play as a central defender. I'm not replying anymore as I totally disagree with anything you're saying. You would think he had the pace and technique of a Stones or a Van Dyk the points you are making
-
Halland doesn't drop deep much for a start, he's usually playing off the last man. Burns does not have the pace to follow players to the half way line as he will be crucified with one pass in behind. There was once yesterday he was in a forward midfield position, which was absolutely ridiculous
-
He was totally out of position for the goal and this happens a few times during a game. You're a defender with very limited technical skill, stick to what you're best at. His passing is also an issue as I've mentioned before. I'll not even go into his heading at set pieces and not dominating that area in both boxes. His defensive play is usually decent, but as above he has a lot of negatives also

We have shown more than enough to say we can actually win this league, we have been the better team in all the games this season; and really should be already top of the pile. Keep there or there about come January and then bring in some more quality to finish the job
-
After given her stick last week, Hayles was excellent today with her goals and all round play
-
Especially since everyone knows that rule, she was on a booking and is the captain
-
Yeah it changed the game, she is the captain and kicked the ball away according to the commentators (I was making a cuppa) and that is absolutely brainless, if correct, when on a booking and also being captain
-
McQuade should have been brought on as we were being overrun in midfield at that point. Doesn't matter that they hadn't been on long, one of them should have been taken off again. By bringing another defender on we were totally exposed in midfield. Really we should be top with 16 points. I'm dead against chopping and changing the team every week also .
-
Langley wants her arse kicked here she should have brought mc use on to shore up the midfield. I also think she changes the team around to much game to game

He will be given the full season (unless results and overall performances do not improve). As I mentioned at the end of last season he was always going to be under pressure this season. The Saudis won't accept two years without European football not being achieved. The failure of the transfer window (whoever is to blame) and the fact we have Murphy and Almiron as our first choice right wingers still after three years, certainly isn't helping.

He had more game time in the last international break and yet completed 87 minutes against Wolves -

Unless injuries, the two substitutions of Bruno and Gordon for Almiron and Longstaff is one of the most baffling I've seen. Bruno (our best player today) and Gordon (I agree not having his best of games) are two of our key players in creating that moment of magic we needed. It was no coincidence that Brighton controlled the game and could have scored a couple more when those two coming on; yet Almiron and Longstaff virtually give the ball away every time they received it (Longstaff on set pieces man ). 8 goals in 8 games is just not good enough. -

So frustrating still having Murphy as a first choice right winger. That has to be the main priority in January. Our end product in the final third is a massive concern so far this season -
Aye just looked, funny as fuck that the daft cunt went from saying no team celebrates that way, to only on the pitch when their lasses photo was shown Then king faux outrage chipped in with his usual shit before the thread was closed.
-
Honestly that thread is mental. They are totally having mass meltdowns and are now just behaving totally deranged. Some of the posts on their (apart from their usual lies and bullshit) are getting towards psychotic

That's what the owners were thinking would happen. The amount of times this thread is updated is mad, you have one player who didn't really impress at all in the 50 games he played in and another who would have went back out on loan this season imo (he'd also actually hadn't been that impressive until the last game either). PSR is the reason they were sold, it's what we have to accept until the rules eventually do come crashing down. Anyway best for me to just keep out of this thread from now on -
I can't remember free tickets been given to any of the crowds so far at SJP. I think they charged three quid once, but I'm pretty sure I can't remember tickets being give away. I stand corrected if I'm wrong, but I certainly can't remember any. Our takeover has broken them so much that they're having mega meltdowns over a game involving our women's team
