Ask the men at the top they're the ones paid millions, poor transfer window, poor tactics away from home. I've never seen once this season away in the league, a press or starting the game on the front foot (except against a terrible Sheff Utd team). We have just conceded the most shots in a premier league team this season. Defeats against Luton, Forest, Everton and Bournemouth. So yes questions should be asked, or are we going down the Benitez line again. We are already hindered by FFP, failure to qualify for Europe will impact on that again, especially when we have to quantify financial amounts of sponsorship. Reports are that we are being grouped within the 'elite' group of clubs for the Adidas product, not a good look with no European football to highlight this. Rightly or wrongly I can honestly see PIF looking to pull the plug if this form continues through January. The Saudis are ruthless businessmen and the fact that we could well miss out on European football, which will impact on FFP, could well see them forcing a change. You have to remember Howe was not their first choice either.

I don't buy this mind, we find a way quite comfortably at home. Since the start of the season, the pressing and starting on the front foot has been missing, which is the exact opposite to home games. If it was just down to injuries then the home form would also be affected. I'm not for one minute saying Howe out, but it's quite reasonable for him to be questioned.
