  1. Haven't checked the thread, but Rob McDonald has to be in the discussion
  2. Yep he has to play, he has been training for ten month and only needed match minutes. He's played two full games and played well. His fitness levels have not dropped during either match also
  3. Sure it was a couple of year ago
  4. They're going way over the top on Bellingham and Rigg mind (both whom they were saying shouldn't even be in the team at times during last year). Both may well be decent players (not seen it when I have watched them mind, but I have qualified that with the age they are), but based on four games (3 against teams who will finish lower table), they are being talked about as generational talents () and that Real Madrid are interested. Let's see if they're saying the same after a couple of defeats and their annual slide down the league. Some of the daft twats are already wanting us in the cup (the one they have left to play that is), exactly the same shite they were spouting last season. In the Gordon thread a few are saying (some aren't to be fair also) he only had a decent game because it was against a poor Ireland team, conveniently then ignoring that one of their first team couldn't even get into that Ireland teams first 11. Most hyperbole cunts going they are.
  5. Nothing wrong with his interview. He will be judged on future windows and rightly so. He states that a number of improvements was required, so I don't see the problem with that. Howe came out saying he wasn't really involved and Mitchell came out and said this wasn't the case. I don't blame Mitchell at all for coming out and saying that, as his reputation was being put on the line. As I said earlier, everyone will be judged on this coming season and the results achieved and this is again rightly so.
  6. Canny result still think we need more of a focal point up top
  7. Mind the commentator's getting right on my tits, so pro London
  8. YouTube look for Barclays women's championship
  9. First 30 minutes played quite well. Big difference to me is that last 15 London are keeping the ball and trying to create chances through good possession and passing. We seem to be going for the Hollywood ball every time. In some ways we're playing with 10 women also as Andrew's has offered absolutely nothing. They have 3 players on yellow cards so that may come into play. Not bad though, just need to keep the ball better and longer.
  10. Most of the play was going down the right hand side second half, you could see Gordon crying out for play to be switched a few times
  11. I thought there would have been a couple of more WSL or international players coming in. May still happen as there is a week to go and a couple of the squad (Ferguson, Donnelly) maybe shipped out on loan. I know it was only friendlies, but we were well beaten at Everton, whereas the mackem lasses beat them a week later. Probably a season of consolidation this year, which would not be a disaster. If we're in the running come January, I can see the boat being pushed out again. Be interesting tomorrow, as this will be a decent test to see how we match up
  12. They're a bunch of twats the whole lot of them. Teddy Ruxpin sums them up, going over the top after a couple of wins (couldn't handle the stick he got and cried off before reappearing), claiming generational talents () playing in their team and players who will go for fortunes if sold (except their ex best player that is). Cry like bairns when things are going against them and to a person talk absolute shite.
  13. 5 weeks ago then, two days off a couple of months ago Does it change the point that you stopped posting because you couldn't take the stick and fuck all to do with no football?
  14. At least I can remember what I posted a couple of months previous, instead of trying to make an excuse. Typical mackem bullshitter.
  15. So you now recollect it had fuck all to do with no football as you first quoted, now who's the tatie? Yeah I do because you're all a set of embarrassing fuckers. Mind I would never sign up to a Sunderland message board that's for sure either.
  16. You said you weren't posting anymore due to getting too much stick, had fuck all reason to do with being no football. I don't need the internet to judge mackems, there all exactly the same in real life when it comes down to football
  17. Looks like the Mail have got their hooks in on Mitchell, with first Hope and now Hughes
  18. So we're asking for what happened to the transfer window and why it was a such a disaster. We get it through a question and answer session by the media with the Sporting Director and people aren't happy because he's telling us exactly the reasons why it was a disaster.
  19. 12 pages on the east stand fence. Dear me man
  20. The cost of that though with the current placement of the ground and the surrounding restrictions, would not be financially sound, for the amount of additional seats it would provide. The additional fact that we would lose revenue due to stand(s) being closed and that season ticket holders would not be able to attend, makes it a non viable for an extension. It's a no brainer all round to me, that a new stadium is the only viable option.
  21. I remember one in the corporate seats getting a good smacking after their goal. Can't understand anyone who are willing to risk going into the home end in any match never mind the derby
  22. Mentioned this the other day it would happen. Bit like the daft Teddy fucker on here, who suddenly appeared again after crying off a few month ago, claiming they have a 'generational talent'. I would love to play them again 3rd round. As exactly the same thing would happen as it did last year. The daft thick fuckers don't learn do they.
