  1. Wouldn’t like to be Mahrez at HT.
  2. This could be 4-0 already. Man City need to capitalise before HT.
  3. The fuck has Pep got on his feet? Looks like he’s borrowed some shoes from lost property.
  4. They’re getting absolutely school’d apparently.
  5. To be fair, he’s only been back a week and a half.
  6. Said it a few weeks ago, massive hatred of him. He’s as smalltime as you could get.
  7. Bournemouth absolutely desperate to throw away automatic promotion.
  8. Seen more cornflakes in a bowl than that.
  9. Of course he pops up with an assist.
  10. Agree, seemed quite a late reaction.
  11. Forgot it’s their cup final tonight against the mighty Rotherham. Hope they get beat and Rotherham’s NUFC fan bags another couple against them. Would be hilarious if they go into the final day outside the playoffs.
  12. He’s not wrong. We’re definitely ahead in the “form since 8 April” table. Although Liverpool are ahead of us on GD in the “form since 19 April” table.
  13. Howe did make mistakes in those games, tbf. Has turned into “saved by £100m”.
  14. This post on the WBA forum about Bruce Could almost have been copied and pasted from here. “Still can't see what he's trying to do. No idea what the logic is behind his team selections and 'tactics' because I can't see any obvious signs of actual tactics. We carry very little threat in open play, sit deep while being relatively easy to play through and we don't really do breakaway football either. We don't dominate, we barely contain and we rarely counter. It's like he's hedging his bets on set pieces whilst being generally pants at those too. Yesterday was devoid of anything constructive or vaguely interesting. May as well have stayed at home watching the grass grow. Personal highlights were the two rounds of applause for those who've departed far too soon. Those and the general social. I haven't got the foggiest what he's trying to accomplish or how he's trying to achieve it.”
  15. Longstaff hated Bruce from day one and was one of the most vocal internally about all of his flaws.
  16. I think Miggy and ASM could really test them with their pace. I’d keep Wood on the bench and go with Miggy, Murphy and ASM, imo. Wood is going to win fuck all with long balls up to him.
  17. I don’t think Leeds’ run in is actually that bad. Loads of people saying Everton will get something from Chelsea but Leeds have exactly the same fixture and are always up for that game. Arsenal are easily capable of dropping points and their last two are both winnable. I reckon they’ll get at least another 6 points. Not sure where Everton are going to get 11+ from.
  18. Intrigued to know how this will work. The regulations and potential enforcement will be interesting.
  19. I thought the opposite having read the threads on both RAWK and GOT the other day. RAWK’s Everton thread was hilarious whereas GOT seemed very RTG. Maybe just a bad day/period of time.
  20. If it pays the bills allowing you to do something you enjoy, it’s probably more clever than odd. Mark Goldbridge another example. His online persona looks to have secured him a contract with TalkSport (which is literally a radio station built on alternative views for clicks). He posts a tweet about Newcastle the other day and people falling over themselves to interact with it
  21. Hate gets clicks and interactions. People are thick enough to press ahead with it too and not realise they’re actually keeping them relevant. TikTok is huge for that now. People literally making constant ‘own goals’ to attract hate comments and the general public not clicking on it’s intentional. It’s not just consigned to that either - TV has been doing it for years. Put someone in front of a camera with an alternative view and you’re onto a winner.
  22. Yup. It’s PFM stuff where kicking someone = fight, character and a good performance. I think their performance was shocking yesterday. If they weren’t intent on diving and making a farce of it, they could have actually got something from the game. Liverpool were so vulnerable defensively, but Everton had no interest in challenging that. Liverpool/Klopp knew they’d just have to bide their time, wait 60 minutes and then bring on fresh attacking players and they’d get through them.
