Thought this had been bumped for the customary pre-match injury rumours.

Not reading that, however I assume they’re still apoplectic that we complained about their fucking death trap of a stadium. EDIT: Against my better judgement I clicked. I suppose selling anything that isn’t nailed down/essential for the purpose of being a football club and then ensuring the club operates within whatever meagre means remain is a sustainable way of running a business. EDIT TO THE EDIT: “He’d invest in the stadium, training ground and we’d definitely have no issues with HMRC.” Those cunts are tapped. Is there another Mike Ashley?

Ashley might well be a step up from the chancer who currently owns them, but I assume that tweet is rage bait.

Wor Flags: visit worflags.org.uk/donate to support future displays

No worries mate. As I said, think it was left in error or potentially moved from elsewhere. There isn’t really room to wave anything back there, even the smaller flag. -

Got to my spot in the back row of the Gallowgate to find one of the largest fucking flag poles I’ve ever seen on my seat. I’d have torn the netting down across the entire stand - dead pigeon and all - had I tried to wave it. Nearly put the eyes out of about half a dozen people around me trying to store it under the seats. I was not a popular man It was wrapped alongside a much more reasonably sized flag, so I assume it was left there in error. -
One of the most cowardly performances I’ve ever seen from Man United. Wanted fuck all to do with us when we kicked up the tempo in the second half. Amorim’s subs were shocking as well.

This is largely driven by the Yanks, and why I think American money is much greater existential threat than Gulf cash.

Remy was phenomenal.

Absolutely dreadful cross. Good job it went in to save his blushes.

As average as we were in parts we had three or four gilt edge chances that we fucked up due to farcical decision making. A bit more clinical and that’s a rout.

“I don’t like it, but unfortunately I don’t have any principles” Incredible stuff. Never change Mr P

If you can’t treat yourself to an absolute stitcher on parade day then when can you.

This. I think we all had an idea of what town would be like when we finally won a trophy. Yesterday exceeded it. Greatest place in the known universe lads. And we live here.

I did wonder how they were going to manage the Town Moor and it turns out they just didn’t. Never got asked for a ticket. Loads of people with cans.

I am wiped after that. Tremendous day. There was a lovely vibe around the place. Newcastle at its best. Shame the Town Moor was baltic.

Despite my initial scepticism I’m really looking forward to today now. Probably helps that the bairn is bursting with excitement like.

Maybe it’s because I’m off the pop, but I’m really not that arsed about the lack of alcohol. It’s a few hours on a field. Hardly embarking on the twelve steps.

There was a Twitter thread years ago from an ex-Vice journalist who claimed he’d been a bit of a pest. Nowt illegal.

A bitter, bitter man who sends questionable DMs to female journalists.

Quansah would be an opportunistic move. It doesn’t appear Slot fancies him. If £30m is accurate there’ll be other teams in for him.

Standard RTG fare. Work themselves into a lather about a load of perceived slights and then resort to telling each other fairy stories about a time they were relevant.
