He is a tit. Wouldn't be anywhere near the England team if he played for any team outside the big 6.

Always had time for Forest. Cracking atmosphere down there. Hope they do us a favour.

Have to admit that I didn't think Isak was going to fit into our system when we bought him. Happy to have been proven wrong.

I know it's a cliche that the latter cup runs distract from a season, but it certainly seemed true in our case. Our bad run coincided with the build up to that. I'm just glad the cup final is so early in the season nowadays and we seem to have found our form again at the right time. That and Spurs looking like a bit of a shambles now.

Get in. The reason VAR is here. Didn't take too long and right decision.

This season's premier league has been so entertaining. Looking like there is loads to play for. City and Arsenal going for the title, us Man United and Spurs for the champions league, the relegation battle with so many teams close to one another. Us not being in the relegation battle obviously helps but this season all round has been class so far.
-
Man United look like a ghost of the team we played in the cup final. This is there for the taking. Just need to take our chances.
-
These two are made for each other. Racist and glorifying hooliganism. They seemingly can't decide if they are mates or want to kick each others heads in. They should get a room.

Kane does exactly what you are saying he doesn't. He drops deep and ties up defenders to allow runners (Saka at the world cup) either side of him. Are we actually at the stage of turning our noses up at the prospect of Harry Kane? ?. He is one of the best players in the world.

Not blaming Wood for tonight at all and I have the upmost respect for the job he has done for us despite his limited ability. But he is the kind of player I would never like to see wear the shirt again. Tonight basically just proved the miracles Howe has performed with a squad that lacks depth. The last part of the season is where depth really comes into it and we need to strengthen.

Arsenal or anyone moaning about the way we played last night need to remember the top teams all do it at some point during a season. The year we should have won the league we absolutely battered Man United at home and they hit us with a sucker punch Cantona goal. Also, Arsenal didn't exactly cover themselves in glory when they were winning the league constantly. Chucking buffet food around and having players carded in the tunnel before the match against Man United. They are in no position to have a moan about us. We did exactly what we had to do to get a point, same as anyone else would have done.

Let's be honest, most of the 'views' they spout on RTG are based on them desperately attempting to appear liberal and forward thinking. Loads on there condemning booing the knee to try and fit in in the modern world when I'm sure behind the keyboard they are all for it. Same applies for human rights, LGBT rights etc. It is the same inferiority complex that leads them to refer to their season tickets as 'season cards'. If you were an outsider and didn't know the North East, looking at RTG you would think Sunderland is a bastion of liberal thinking where 99% of the population vehemently defend the rights of all minorities. Certainly not the brexit supporting, second home of Tommy Robinson where the locals racially abuse their own star player's mother and hang refugees not welcome signs around their town. If Newcastle as a city and football club didn't exist they wouldn't be like this. They are basically like the twin brother whose sibling is captain of the footy team, gets top marks in class and shags all the fit birds. Just desperate for any form of attention or recognition.

City v Liverpool is superb for us. I've got a feeling about this competition this year.
-
Absolutely. We have the January window to strengthen also. The teams around us in the league also have Europe adding to their fixture lists in the new year while we don't. They will also have more players at the world cup than we do. The stars could actually be aligning in our favour for once. We should absolutely be going for the cups. I hope to see a strong team out.

Imagine your fellow fans go to all that effort to make a display and you can't even be arsed to hold a bit of card up for 20 seconds. Then go online and slag off the people who probably spent days trying to put it together. Decent looking pre match displays= mag behaviour. Not bothering to show up and chucking crisp packets onto the pitch when you actually do= best fans in the country. Feel sorry for those who were behind the idea mind. Fair play to them.

Bruce comes in while they are in the playoff places- takes them to the relegation zone- one win in 12- gets sacked and a payoff- they beat a team in the playoff places 2-0 away from home the game after he has gone. The circle of Bruce is complete. -

I can't say I know anything about the WBA team or their players, but a Baggies supporting mate said he basically set the team up not to win. Ie he is trying not to win to get his payoff. -

He won't want a job now. He will want one towards the end of the season so he can blame the previous manager/ it is not his squad for whatever league position his team finish. Certainly won't want the accountability of having the January window to sign his own players. Then start the new season badly and get a payoff around October/ November next year. That is his business model. Anyway the cricket is on this winter in Australia. He wouldnt want 'coaching' a football team interfering with that. -

Will leave the team to sort out their own half time team talk. Him and his otherwise unemployable son will be in the corner looking at Dubai resorts to spend the payoff on. -

1 win in 11- check Job for his son- check Holiday during the international break- check. Blaming anyone but himself- check. Payoff before the cricket in the Australian sunshine- on course to achieve target. All is well in the Steve Bruce managerial strategy this year. Played a blinder as always. Boro next year I reckon. He needs to complete his set of the 3 north east teams fans hating him as well as the Midlands. -

Never takes London club jobs cos he could never get away with it down there and he knows it. Knows exactly what he is doing. -
Absolutely this. Unfortunately it won't happen as the EFL and the sponsors would rather have Man City reserves in it than an exciting competition for the best of the rest. Edit- bring back the Cup Winners Cup too. That would make the cup competitions a lot more interesting.

Noticed he is visiting the mackems in December. Hopefully they are around the relegation zone and completely riled up and he will get the normal mackem welcome. They hate him almost as much as we do. A nice cup tie at Villa around that time would make things even better. Cabbages at dawn -

He deserves the catering bill sent to him that he will have racked up during his tenure here. The Saudis can turn a blind eye to a couple of hundred mil lost the way most of us can to a quid down the back of the sofa, but even they will be having fits when they look at his just eat accounts.
