I don't really know what the solution is but the FFP rules certainly need improving , teams shouldn't be allowed to go out and spend unlimited money but at the same time teams like us and Villa shouldn't be restricted from challenging the top 6 and forced to sell our best players just to break even. Forest and Everton shouldn't be punished for showing a bit of ambition and spending a couple of hundred million , whilst Chelsea can literally go out and spend a billion quid to try and get back into the top 4. Arsenal can finish 2nd and go out and spend millions more to try and win the league , whilst Villa or ourselves can finish 4th and not be allowed to do the same to try and improve , it's totally flawed .

Not that bothered really , if he's going to Chelsea then he's literally just going for the money , not the type of player I would want anyway .

I always say this , they have such an inferiority complex when it comes to us , they hate the fact Newcastle is far more well known and the coverage we get compared to them, it's hard to even class them as rivals really , I just look down on them as the annoying younger brother yapping for attention.

Its amazing what one game can do though, the vast majority wanted him sacked before they won that game, one freak result and they now all want him to stay and are pretending they never wanted him to be sacked in the first place.

Yep exactly , I would feel much more confident about finishing above them next season if Ten Hag is still the manager . They might win another cup but that's pretty much a given when you are the Man United manager anyway with the resources they have .

You have a squad that cost about a billion quid you should have enough options in amongst that to cover an injury crisis .

Love what Trippier has done for us but if we can get 15 million for him we should be accepting it . A lot of signs defensively last season that he is past his best and Tino is surely going to be our first choice next season. Only issue is his leadership would be hugely missed.

I hope they keep Ten Hag mind , they somehow finished below us with a billion pound squad and we had pretty much everything possible go against us all season long and an unprecedented injury crisis . They seem to be able to pull off daft cup results but Man United will always have a better chance than most of winning cups regardless of who the manager is, they just have that built into them. So basically , if you are are in Europe we will let you spend more to help ensure you keep qualifying for Europe, which ensures any teams not in Europe are automatically handicapped making it harder for them to qualify for Europe . That thread about Clarke is madness , they seem to think they have a squad worth about 200 million . They just finished 16th in the championship and reckon they have all these world class players teams are queuing up to buy for daft inflated prices .

I like him but he's definitely a streaky player, I feel like him missing a lot of last season and us struggling at times has made people think he is better than he actually is . He's not on the same level as Bruno or Joelinton for example.

I do find it hard to class Spurs on a par with the other 5 clubs mind , I get what you are saying about finances etc and I know they have the best stadium in the world but I see it more as a big 5, they are the ones that share all the trophies around and Spurs literally win nothing . It's more a big 5, then Spurs above everyone else but I just can't take them seriously as being on par with the other five clubs.

DCL is similar to Wilson in that he's always injured but isn't as good at scoring goals as Wilson is , I suppose he's younger so could always improve . Just seems a strange one selling one injury prone striker for another who isn't actually as good as the one we are selling .
