The first of four games in ten days , will have to be some rotation at some point . The Leicester cup game should be the priority with the Sheff Wed game the least of our worries . Full team against Leeds and make some changes against Arsenal if needed .
-
Will take anyone at home .

Argentina aren’t all that , very average team with Messi carrying them , they won’t win the World Cup.
-
Cant get my head around why Argentina are like 4/1 and Holland 16/1 to win the tournament, based on what I have seen from both teams is nothing to separate them , its a 50/50 game. Argies have Messi but Holland have Van Gaal.

They are getting giddy at the thought of PIF selling us and buying Man United.
-
I have never got the whole Phillips thing mind, he had one excellent season and that's it, he was a decent player but the mackems seem to believe he is some type of all time premier league great and they reckon the only reason he never played more for England is because Shearer said he didn't want him in the squad.
-
They are all arguing with each other on that thread on RTG, a lot of them are saying nobody would care one bit about the friendly if the Saudis didn't own us, obviously they get abused and called mags.
-
Does that mean season ticket holders essentially have until the 25th to buy their own seat? If they don't then members can buy it? Only ask as I don't yet know if I can attend and wont know until next week but don't want to lose out on getting my season ticket seat.

He’s always been a massive Wanker like but even Man United fans must be sick of the cunt now .
-
It sounds absolutely dire the atmosphere like , where are all the massive lads fans ?
-
Player of the month won .
-
Think the majority were underwhelmed initially especially as Unai had turned us down, I certainly was, however once he got the job even for them first few months before we became class you could see the improvements being made and that we were heading in the right direction.
-
Draw will be an excellent result, although I am getting Arsenal at home last season vibes about this, a late game against one of the so called big 6 coming into this on the back of a few defeats and a lot of pressure on them, the atmosphere is going to be something else and we have no pressure on us at all really. You could tell before kick off that night that the Arsenal players couldn't handle the atmosphere and that we were going to run all over them. I have a feeling the same could happen again on Saturday.

Feel like Brazil are favourites for every world cup but they have flattered to deceive for the last 20 years now. That squad doesn't scream world cup winners to me and you have to wonder about the manager if he thinks Fred is a better option than Joelinton.
-
More level headed than most usually but even I am starting to think top 4 could be on. Man City have the league won and Arsenal will be 2nd but after that Spurs and Chelsea are nothing to be scared of, Man United have improved but are still inconsistent as today showed. Liverpool need a huge revamp even if they win today. We have literally been this good for the whole year, it’s not a flash in the pan or some daft flukey run, we are where we deserve to be.
-
Be happy with a point in this one , not sure we are at the level yet where we should be expecting to go here and win.

I don’t class them as a big club at all, they get decent crowds but they have done absolutely nothing in the 33 years I have been born that suggests they are a big club, not even a single game in Europe and aside from like two years when they came 7th all I have ever known them be is a poor team that battles relegation whenever they are in the big league. They are just another run of the mill average sized club to me and if it wasn’t for their obsession with us I wouldn’t even think twice about them .

Booing the knee again today according to RTG, this coming from the same club that have such a huge issue with human rights.
-
A do think lot of people come across as very mackem esque when it comes to human rights . They only highlight it when it suits their agenda . You either decide you want nothing to do with anything related to human rights. You don’t watch a particular football club or the World Cup etc because you feel that strongly against it , or you just decide you tolerate it and continue to live your life as normal . I personally think it’s class being a Newcastle fan at the moment, therefore can’t really take the moral high ground when it comes to the World Cup or Gary Neville or anyone else when it comes to human rights . Others for example will cry on all day long about our owners but watch the World Cup with a clear conscience which is just totally wrong and actually makes a mockery of human rights .
-
Have no issue with the 10 or so people that will turn up to protest to be fair.
-
The World Cup disrupting our momentum is nonsense , we have been playing like this all year and had the break between May and August and it did nothing to stop our momentum .
-
Teams have already tried to figure out ways to play us, anyone outside the so called big 6 coming to SJP will come to sit back and try to snatch a point showing very little intent to score. It worked for Bournemouth and Palace although we had a perfectly good goal chalked off against them and it hasn't worked for anyone else. I don't see what else these teams could do to "figure us out". Some will snatch points playing like that and other wont.
-
Will cost at least 100 million, I think its only Madrid we need to worry about, when they come calling don't think is anything any club can do to stop them. I don't see him going to any of the so called big 6 as we are likely to be competing with them over the coming years and with our owners could match any wages they may offer hm.
