Brentford might hate Everton as much as the rest of the country do and roll over for Leeds , literally everyone wants Everton down apart from the Mackems .

Right so we need Leeds to beat Brentford and Burnley to beat us , then Everton to draw v palace and lose to Arsenal then they down , not that unrealistic really .

They looked terrible last night but the championship isn't all that, , Luton just finished 6th and they only got promoted a few years ago, even Barnsley got to the playoffs last season and again they were in third division a few years ago. Coventry and Blackpool who have came up in recent season are comfortable in that league now. Unfortunately I don't think they will struggle in the championship.

All them awful Sunderland players that turned into peak Barcelona 2010 during them six derby defeats.

10th and a cup run next season will be a very good season, then try and push into the top 6-8 the season after.

Without checking I am sure Brighton were in the top half when we beat them? We have also beaten Villa who are literally a point behind 10th. is three points between Palace in 9th and Brighton in 13th so absolutely nothing between the likes of Palace, Leicester, Brighton and Villa. Even we are only 6 points of 9th and that's down to having Bruce in charge until October, like I said if we cant get 4 points from them games we don't deserve to stay up anyway.

I was glad Burnley won last night and want them to beat Norwich on Sunday, I am absolutely desperate for Grand old team to be relegated. We need max 4 points to stay up and if we cant get that from Wolves, Palace, Leicester at home and Norwich away then we deserve to go down.

They are absolutely desperate for this negative coverage to continue in the hope the Saudis think it’s not worth the hassle and sell up . I have seen plenty of Newcastle managers get stick over the last 20 years for finishing mid table , Rafa wasn’t a yes man and stood up to Ashley so I get why he’s liked so much .

Whilst I never hated him I have always said he did an ok job, nothing more nothing less, he certainly has never deserved the messiah like status some hold him in but I think that’s a lot more to do with the politics he used when speaking up against Ashley rather than the football we played and the results we got.

He won’t be starting him in such a big match next week, absolutely no reason for him to be starting at the minute either with how well we have been playing and our recent results.

Bruce , Carver , Mcclaren all did a far worse job than Pardew did for us . Benitez got lauded for finishing 10th and 12th.
