Just shows how far Howe has taken this team. When the team sheat came out I thought anything under 3 would be good. Nice to know we will put in a performance against any team. Once champions league kicks in and games go back to 1 a week I think we will start climbing up the league. So unlucky tonight and can't help but feel robbed but nice to feel proud even after a defeat. Gutted for players.

Cant understand how any professional football isn't 2 footed, obviously most will have a dominant foot but should still be able to use both. Always baffled me how some players just never seem to train with there weaker foot.

He is bound to get more minutes with the new 5 subs rule as he is our only other attacking midfielder, surely if keeps impressing and adds a goal or an assist he will get his chance to start. There will also definitely be a need at some point with 2 games a week especially the way our injuries seem to be going.

Bruno, Trippier and Targett weren't even playing under Bruce and can't help Knee injuries if your fit or not. I just say its more unlucky than anything else but if they keep coming then something is obviously causing them

Definitely much better suited to games where we have more space to counter attack. Hasn't got the skills to play passing and close control. We need another option when playing teams with not as much space in behind or best used as an impact sub when teams are tired.

Completely changes our game with Wood upfront. Just can't see any point in keeping him.

ASM never looks good without Wilson on the pitch. Wood gives no options or gives opposition anything to think about.

Still so light in the squad after first team. Backup just not good enough.

Most probably when he pulled up in cup game for a few minutes but then played on. Hopefully not the case or we will struggle to create much with the other options.

Always the same in these games, its no wonder managers put out a shit team as its odds on someone coming off injured. Just a shame our back up players are uttter crap.

Surely shouldn't make a difference its going to happen at some point so replacement should be priority anyway.

I don't think so either but if we aren't going to rely on goals from midfield we really need a quality rw that actually scores goals and another winger to contribute if we are going to climb up the league. Just not got enough goals in the squad ATM

He looked far better than Wood when he came on and he has been out for half a season, very big IF but if we can try manage his game time and improve on overall fitness maybe he could play more next season. Hopefully we can bring in a top young ST to take away some burden to him and give him one last season to see if getting the proper treatment will improve his fitness record.

Cant see him getting much game time next season apart from last 10 mins if a goal is needed.

I always felt sorry for him playing in a shit team and playing so defensive but his attitude and decision making just isn't good enough. His passing is poor, his dribbling isn't great anymore and he can't shoot and on top of all that he doesn't work hard enough. He needs compition and become a impact subsitute until he ups his game if its possible.

Not with Willock in there, big Joe with his physicality works I think but not enough movement up top for them to play balls.

I understand that but him throwing his hands in the air or looking down at the ground everytime for a loose pass is stupid, shoe your team mates some respect. If they did that everytime he ran into 3 players he wouldn't like it and his passing is awful.
