The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Will Still Southampton manager
The Butcher replied to cp40's topic in Football
They got to finals in spite of him, not because of him. It's not like getting to a Europa League final is impressive after getting knocked out of the CL, especially with that squad. He's shit and I'll be amazed if he ever manages a good club again. -

We'll have a chance for points in every single game bar Chelsea, City and Liverpool and probably Man Utd if they get someone semi-competent in.

Guess he'll go back to Molde in some capacity now. He'll never get a job in a top European league ever again. Truly one of the worst managers out there. -

2 CMs in Jan pls. Every single midfielder bar Willock must go as soon as possible. Can't believe we gave a nothing player like Hayden a new deal. Longstaff's contract is running down and Shelvey has 18 months left. Hope they're all gone come August. Hendrick as well, fuck me.

'The Glazer family has also instructed club officials to further accelerate attempts to persuade Zinedine Zidane to take over the managerial position mid-season, increasing United’s financial offer to the three-times Champions League winning coach.' -
Darlow is a capable reserve GK for a bottom half PL club. Shouldn't be a starter in the top division.

Shearer, Lee, Woodgate. -
We were already 1-0 up.

It's about staying in the game. An early goal against and it's all over.

Canny bloke and a shite footballer. Wish him all the best.

Rank Klopp and Tuchel as the best. Pep's teams play good football, but he's spent hundreds of billions in the process and he hasn't won the CL in a decade. I personally think he's a wee bit overrate. I know that's an unpopular opinion, mind. I do love Rafa, but he last won a proper trophy in 2014. He hasn't really done anything really impressive in quite some time. Don't think he'll ever get a job at top job again. Solskjær bought the league in Norway a few times and that's it. Clearly the worst in the PL for me.

The current one is fantastic. Keep it.

That spell before he went to Liverpool, man. I've only ever loved Shearer and HBA as much as him back then. Was close to tears when he left He looked like he could become a top class striker tbf. What a fucking waste.

Yeah, but he really has to play ASM in a wider role, mind. -
Ødegaard, man. 4-5-6 touches every fucking time he's on the ball. So bloody annoying.

Be interesting to see how he'll set up the central midfield area. Apart from Willock none of the others have anything about them. There's no pace or creativity at all. Really hope there's a new CM or two lined up come Jan.
