  1. No Craig Hope story last night - wonder if they’re back round the table negotiating the compo?
  2. Preach. He’s a fucking weasel. Man Utd fans laughing and saying Eddie Howe is the problem. I’d rather have Eddie at the club than give the pint sized shitehawk the keys to the kingdom only for him to bail when a Sinister Six club flutter their eyelashes at him. If it wasn’t Man Utd it would have been Chelsea or Spurs. Him, Doping Dave Brailsford and Brexit Jim are a perfect match.
  3. He’s away, even if it is a season long loan. We bought him for £12m (+£3m loan fee which isn’t included) on a 4 year deal so have to book at least £6m to break even. I’d take £7.5m just to get him off the books and make a small amount to write up against his amortisation. Next summer he’ll be down to his last year, so the gamble is whether he does enough in any loan spell for us to claw back more (any amount over £3m from 1 July 25). I’d probably take that gamble.
  4. Problem is getting a fair crack with that lot. Don’t forget many of them will be Ashworth’s pals from his time there.
  5. I wouldn’t laugh because it means Pep is coming after Bruno rather than him.
  6. Didn’t we do that with Botman? All agreed and signed on 1.7.22.

Cunts remind me of the savages in No Escape.
  8. That’s my perspective too. Looks fucking miserable all the time. Whatever’s gone on behind the scenes has been a millstone around his neck as he’s gone from the top goal provider in the PL in the season to November, to a liability from December onwards.
  9. His tweets are as bland as his name.
  10. Genuinely would rather take a punt on Rowe from Norwich now they’re not going up.
  11. Don’t think anyone wouldn’t want him, it’s just we don’t think we can get him, not least for a price that is sensible.
  12. Nice to see the pricks are as arrogant on the forum as they are in real life. Spent two years working down there and they’re an absolute pack of wanks.
  13. Not buying that list. Ramsdale and the Georgian, yep. Two 27 year olds of which one will be £60m+ and the other a Man of Glass, nope.
  14. Fuck me, replacing Wilson with Calvert-Lewin would just be:
  15. Fair dos to Freedman, his decision. Plenty of times people have those conversations but don’t make the big jump. Done it myself for a range of circumstances with roles. I’m sure we’re disappointed but will have a Plan B. Think a Spors-Nickson double act might be the outcome.
  16. Ahahahahahah - not the Marras?
  17. Screams what Rafa used to say about the blanket that’s too short. If you go attack heavy as a promoted team you get nailed in defence. Similarly if you pack the defence you have nowt up front. Your blanket won’t cover both. For new promotes, it’s finding a balance that works. Luton came closest in terms of that pragmatism but had a poor record of going ahead and losing leads (14 times leading; 6 wins, 2 draws, 6 losses). The only two worse teams were, of course, Sheffield Utd and Burnley. We went ahead 25 times, won 18, drew 4, lost 3 (Liverpool, Forest, City).
  18. Harrison Ashby too. Targett, Dummett, Trippier, Lascelles the ones I think will go or, in Lascelles case, come back mid to late in the season, barely play and leave next summer. That leaves 5 CBs, Dan Burn, Kelly and Lewis Hall who can play LB, Tino and Krafth on the right. Tripps looks gone, probably needs the change.
  19. Of course not, let’s ignore the ex-Man City employee illegally working for Ineos/Man Utd on garden leave and another target DoF leaking sensitive information to try and reduce his compensation. Absolute non-story. Meanwhile here’s 10 minutes on what a groundsman does during the close season…
  20. Some Cliff notes: - Ashworth was the idiot refusing to sign off on Bruno’s new contract so hardly an ideal relationship - Ashworth likely won’t be in place for the summer, definitely not within the release clause period - I don’t think Ineos are a lock to run the club better. Their performance on the last 3 months can best be described as tone deaf and amateurish - No CL puts them at a huge disadvantage - £35m budget unless they sell means they aren’t getting close to his release clause without cannibalising their own team
  21. Tripper looking ecstatic to be there ?
