It sounds quite a Gordon-esque arc. I’m hoping Hall, Tino, Barnes and Sandro all have an uninterrupted pre-season with Eddie and get into the structure, fitness and pace he demands.

I’d avoid Ramsdale like the plague. Would be disappointed to pass up the Georgian lad for the marginal gains and significant outlay Ramsdale would bring.

Murphy’s output is reasonable, certainly for a newly promoted team. Since 2020/21 he’s played 114 times for us. 9 goals and 9 assists. Plenty of PL experience, good character to have around. Also UCL experience now (3 games). In the last 5 years Longstaff has played 135 PL games with 9 goals and 9 assists.

I’d say that’s reasonable at a stretch: Wilson - £15m Miggy - £15m Longstaff - £12m Murphy - £10m Fraser - £2m Dubs - £2m Gets you to £56m

Technically not but virtually assured as there would have to be a 12+ swing in goal difference on the last day.
