I think he really likes Ritchie, has a soft spot for him. I can’t see that being a change with Lewis (not saying I would do the same) I think he will keep Fernandez in (with Lascelles replacing schar) This change ….because of Schars fitness / niggles (he went down a few times v Norwich and looked leggy in the last 20 mins) which is expected due to nearly a year without playing in the first team I probably would like to see Murphy replace Fraser but that’s just me

The ban is in place but I am sure we can still get deals done (but they have to be at market value? ) If not - it surely has to break competition law ?? It could be argued our market value is up there with the top clubs now we are super rich and will have more exposure / generate more interest ??

Either way it’s going to be interesting to see how things pan out , it’s nice to have some hope back regardless. Is it me or anyone else a little concerned? This looks unfinished? Cable from the tv , fake grass looks like a kid from the street has laid it , random plastic bins , etc I am not getting the richest club in the world vibe from anything we have done so far ? January window talk seems like (loans etc) which to be honest might be fair enough given our predicament The time it took to get Eddie Howe , plus backroom staff (rumours of tight negotiations) The new fitness room looks half decent but nothing spectacular, especially if it’s long term (eg 3 or 4 years) Sports direct advertising still up - we could buy out the contract if mega rich ?? peanuts in the grand scheme of things I am all for being financially sensible , and to be fair I have no issues with any of the above but I get the feeling this isn’t going to be a massive / crazy rich club spending money left right and centre I get the feeling that the 50 million per transfer window is correct and we will no doubt push up the league , but when 1 player (eg Jack grealish) costa 100 million , we won’t be challenging at the top end. Ps - I am not one of these people that want us to go crazy or spend hundreds of millions , all I have ever wanted is Ashley gone and us to show ambition I just don’t get the vibe we will be this mega spending / title challenging monster competing with Man City in 5-10 years Obviously time will tell but it’s just the feeling I get from the early things we see and hear from various media outlets An example of this would be the manager search (we could of sacked Bruce on day 1 - if money was no object) brought in Ten Hag for example , if we wanted to show a sign of intent and to make it known we are the number 1 club Yes - we don’t want to throw money away - but you know what I mean !

I have faith in Eddie Howe , I don’t stress anymore about line ups or formations etc He knows the team better then us , works with them daily , he is a workaholic, no stone unturned. The most important factor when picking a team (which we will never know) …..is that he knows about little niggles/injuries/form in training, personal issues. I have faith in whichever team he plays.

Maybe, However he was the same when he played under Bruce. Could be a player locked away in there somewhere but I always think he flatters to deceive.

I hear what you are saying but I think he hasn’t got that extra something to be a premier league player He has a fantastic attitude/ work rate and a nice touch at times , he is also a very good team player (can hold a ball up as well) However he seems to have the knack off over hitting and under hitting passes , slips over all the time , lacks that extra burst of pace , doesn’t score anywhere near enough goals and doesn’t get many assists. I do agree though he has been great lately at doing the dirty work.

He annoys me , he has all the attributes to be a good player but there is something missing Always looks for the backwards pass and throw in. Only goes forward if he is forced into it Put in some nice meaty challenges but he switches off too much for a left back We need a new left sided defender , I think manquillo is better than him , which says it all !!
