Not going to check and there's probably not a way to check but there's a strong argument to say we would have missed out on champions League at least one of those times without him.

Hard to call, I see both sides as they are catchable especially as we get knocked out of cups so get longer breaks but at the turn of the year Liverpool were on 33 points with us being 8 behind them and that was after 19 games so in 7 games (if the scores stay the same) we've closed 2 points. Either way people seeing us as not catching them doesn't qualify as 'losing their shit' in my opinion.
