Same could be said for alot of clubs and players. If the player wants to leave/is happy to leave then it just takes the right offer. He's still young so would take a decent fee I'm sure but no doubt it's possible.

If it was entirely my decsion I'd go for Paqueta, Jesus, Tomori, Camara. Thats signings at CAM, ST, CB and CDM. 4 new signings all with far more quality than we already have yet not an entire upheaval of the squad. Lose the deadwood, Clark, Lewis, Hayden, Fernandez, Gayle and Ritchie (Dummett maybe) Keep Elliot Anderson in the squad and perhaps bring in another youngster or 2. That would leave us with plenty of cover across the pitch in every position but also with space in the squad to add in January if necessary due to injury etc.

Wood as 3rd choice and 2 new strikers isn't something I'd be adverse to. Sounds harsh in alot of ways on Wilson but he can't be relied upon to be fit for enough games. Would be difficult to turn down a solid offer for Wilson I would think. He's injury prone and 30 now, if we get a offer of circa 15m I'd take that.

Eddie Howe - Admitted to Hospital; To miss Man United (H)

I've watched every single video/interview/match that Howe has done here and that one for Crystal Palace is by far the most relaxed and at ease with questions that he has looked. Was more than happy to have a joke with the guys in the room and genuinely seemed far more comfortable. I think obviously this has alot to do with the results and the league table but it does seems he's more settled in his role now, which can only be a good thing. -
Or potentially Jesus? Pretty sure they've got another striker coming in from South America that they signed and loaned back (River Plate maybe?). This would push him down the pecking order. I'd snap their hands off if he was available for a reasonable fee.

We're due a crazy game I think. 4-3 win. Wood Hat-trick

Didn't even cross my mind that Pardew had won it. Just had a look and Tony Pulis won it at Crystal Palace 13/14 season, after taking over in late November (no idea what position they were in when he took over) and finishing 11th with them. So it's definitely on the cards if we can get into the top half. -

Any chance of him getting Manager Of The Season? Where would we need to finish for him to be in with a shout? 9th perhaps? 10th even? Has a manager ever won it without having won a trophy in that season? -
That's one thing he does well in fairness and always has. He doesn't hide from the ball or shy away from trying to create, no matter how bad a game he is having. Can see how he celebrates both goals that he has the passion for this club/ his teammates .

I'd love him to be here long enough to develop some sort of a geordie accent. No matter how small or almost unnoticeable it is, that would make me happy. -
One of his quieter games since Howe has arrived I thought. Did what he needed to do but we didn't have much of the ball for him to contribute very much. Similar goes for Joelinton, he and Shelvery both putting in a solid 7.5/10.
-
Will be a different type of game from Leicester and Wolves. They aren't as possession based as either of those teams. We'll see alot more of the ball than we have done recently so will need Bruno and Shelvey to be on it once more. Trippier potentially on the bench for this do we think?
-
Definitely the target now! Will be a hugely tough ask though. Would need to win the next 2 and the last game against Burnley whilst getting a point against Man City/Liverpool/Aresnal. That would leave us on 47pts which I think would be good enough for somewhere around 9th-11th.
-
Should be 2-1. Near enough an open goal there for Anderson.
-
Palace going out. Chelsea have turned up in the last 20 minutes.
-
2 years would seem about right for him. Wouldn't want more than that. Even a year with some sort of extension that kicks in if he plays 10 or more games, but I don't imagine he'd be happy with that.
-
Saw a couple of their fans moaning "where did the extra minute come from". But if I'm right, Bruno was leaping to head that ball bang on the 94th minute. They just can't hack the loss, buts its always hard to take losing in the last minute let alone the last second.
-
Burn or Joelinton for that job I reckon.

Plenty of time in the summer to give some facilities a much need revitalisation. Can't change everything overnight or even across a a few summer months but no doubt Howe had earmarked what need to be priority. Certain things will be done ASAP at the training ground once the season has ended I'd have thought. -
Man City have a legitimate shout for a penalty if Jesus goes down there after that nudge from Van Dijk.
-
Dull game in all. Brighton have done well and Spurs have don't very little to deserve a goal.
-
I'm kind of expecting those type of new faces to come in once DOF is finally sorted. Hopefully Brighton and Newcastle can come to an agreement soon so he can get started ASAP on hiring scouts and setting up a team to do these deals in the summer.
-
Grey or Black Castore Newcastle Hoodie. (Like the one Jason Tindall wears on Match Days) £65 and very often on offer. Good quality stuff.
-
I think he'll be staying at Chelsea next season but I agree he would be a good target.

Anyone else think it's a ridiculous kit clash with Bournemouth and Middlesbrough! It's fine when you see the 2 close up but at a distance on the TV cameras it's not immediately obvious. I'm sure it's been mentioned before but colourblindness affects 1 in 12 men. And deuteranopia is the most common type and that is Red/Green colourblindness.
