  1. Watford are the one I see possibly getting out of it. They are more capable of winning games they "shouldn't". Either way, we are safe, fuck the rest.
  2. These 2 teams are perfect for each other, Villa are a dirty/snidey team and Spurs never stop fucking moaning. So many injuries already and its no suprise, someone's going to get sent off soon.
  3. Where the fuck were those lines drawn?! Not even near in line with the players.
  4. Don't see why Bowen would want to leave in the summer, unless it's for a Champs League team. West Ham won't let him go easy either.
  5. You're right, just had a look and Jimenez is also out so that's given me slightly more confidence of a result.
  6. No point risking Willock when Bruno can come in for him. Last thing we want is to be missing Willock for the next few weeks because he played with an injury. Bruno and Joelinton are going to have a big task in the middle tonight, alot of pressing is going to be needed to help nullify Mouthino and Neves. Wouldn't even be surprised to see a change of formation and have Shelvey and Bruno as a double pivot to help keep possession in the midfield.
  7. Not that I don't think we are safe already but I'd like to be mathematically out of reach before Burnley last game of season. A win puts us 10pts clear of Burnley and back up to 14th. That would have me much more relaxed as I can't see Burnley or Everton averaging a point a game for the rest of season. These next 4 games are entirely winnable and the next 3 being at home is a bonus.
  8. I think even Lampard has realised he's a dead weight. Crazy to think Alli was a first choice for England at the last World Cup.
  9. I like it, think that's exactly what I would've picked. Bruno not been back in training long enough obviously.
  10. Everton doing alright so far, very dull game though. Neither side have shown any attacking quality. Very defensive from Everton, and West Ham are struggling to get through.
  11. Hopefully Everton get a battering in this game. Will be good to see how DCL does though if it is true that he's on the shortlist for the summer .
  12. Not that optimistic but Spurs are capable of having a very bad day, I think a draw would be more than decent given the results yesterday. Depends who we've got in the middle and whether ASM and Fraser will be on form. We can definitely cause them problems down the sides, their fullbacks are poor.
  13. Watford and Burnley losing was the main thing today and that's going to happen. Ideally Leeds would lose but Brentford winning isn't terrible, just puts Everton even further behind.

    FIFA World Cup

I think the pots have worked out well this year. Even a worst case scenario group for England of Germany, Senagal and Canada would be exciting yet I'd still expect us to get out that group comfortably. Ideally though you'd want USA, Japan and Saudi. Will definitely be watching the draw today.
  15. Actually glad the World Cup isn't this summer. Full focus on getting players in without the hassle of that to delay and interrupt the situation. 6 players are essential I think. Half a new starting 11 basically. GK - Henderson CB - Botman LB - Targett CM - Phillips ST - Nunez RW - Antony That would be the minimum I would expect and then perhaps a couple of youngsters depending how many if the current squad are sold/released.

    FIFA World Cup

That would be a decent group, the game against Mexico would be a great one I think. Would also be nice not to have any European teams in our group. Will definitely endeavour to watch the draw live tomorrow.
  17. Pogba has played 150 games for Man U, 29 goals, 38 assists. Decent but not outstanding stats and certainly not worth the money he would be asking. Man U havent been a mess for a while and wont get much better for another year or so. He'll improve wherever he goes just down to the fact he won't be at Man U but don't see it being with us. Will probably go to PSG.
  18. He won't be here next season, one of the few we have that I don't think Howe will want to keep but also has some sell on value. 10/12m perhaps, a little more with add ons in the end. Better off having Anderson in his spot as he doesn't take up a squad space.
  19. Did you watch England at the Euros? He is the link player between defense and forward players. Good in the tackle but equally has an eye for the pass. He's extremely similar to Bruno.
  20. That is utterly delusional! How big do your balls have to be to actually request that. To then give the reason of "sporting integrity" is laughable.
  21. There is certain nervousness and pressure going into this game but it isn't because Everton are dangerous or a team to be worried about necessarily but more because this game is actually one where we will be expecting to win. Losing to Chelsea even with how it happened wasn't much of a shock but losing to this lot with their form and everything will be hard to take. Nervous but I do think with players back we will get the win. 2-0 Wood,Joelinton.
  22. I think with the WC coming mid season it might actually do us a favour in the transfer market. Alot of players will want moves away to ensure they are playing regularly. And I mean players who are more than good enough but perhaps haven't got as much game time as they should due to the manager or players ahead of them. Rashford and Stones spring to mind.
  23. He can say what he likes, let's be honest, he's unlikely to play for this club again and he no doubt knows it. One of the few I'll hope goes to a decent club and gets game time. FA just bringing more attention to their own ineptitude with this.
  24. Got a nasty off the ball whack from Rudiger after he chased back and won the ball. Did well yesterday in all but did give the ball away a few times, will only get better and will ofcourse get better with more quality around him next season.
  25. If we're going to be playing with a back 3 then we could well have 2 up top, so no reason Wood/Wilson wouldn't be a partnership for the last few games this season. Takes alot of the burden of Wood playing as a sole striker and allows Wilson to play off him without having to do all the chasing like he did early season.
