  1. Schär is way too soft when he follows Jackson to midfield. You cannot let the striker turn so easily. Happens every single time.
  2. There are different ways still. Chelsea have spent like 500 million in their midfield, wingers and strikers, and still there was no movement, no combinations, no urgency. Just players standing still recycling the ball like in a handball game. Totally different to Man City, for example, who forces opponent very close to their own box. Of course Liverpool is a lot better than Wolves, but still lack of movement was very evident yesterday,
  3. Chelsea’s attacking against low block is horrible.
  4. If he stands still that is not a foul. He takes 1 step back so that could be given as a foul, but usually in games a lot worse blocks don't get looked twice.
  5. He does not obstruct the keeper when he the offside could happen. When Stones heads the ball, he is far away. If offside is given like that you wish for, then the City player giving the corner was in offside also.. And usually teams just put a defender in front of the keeper so that blocking doesn't happen. When the corner is taken, he is not offside, so only a foul on keeper could be given. Is that really a foul? Sa is not protesting at all... They were checking if he was in line of sight of the keeper. That is why the goal was not given first.
  6. It certainly was not offside. Maybe a foul on Sa, but even that would have been ridiculously cheap foul to give. He cannot be in an offside position before ball hits Stones' head. And when it does he is 5 feet away and dodging.
  7. Yes they have, but those are still a one way to score.
  8. We didnt take our chances, and I am bit worried that too much rests on Gordon and Isak. Midfielders are not really scoring, although Joelinton could and perhaps should, and without Trippier his set piece threat and crosses are missing. Isak is very isolated and I really can't see us scoring very much.

  10. Well, we missed a penalty, Gordon missed a breakaway and Bruno's shot was cleared from the goal line. We should have score 1-2 easily with those chances. With Isak I think we win that game. But we definitely need some creativity from the right.
  11. We very nearly scored from the first corner on Saturday.
  12. They did press occasionally, but with that CB pair you cannot press high against Gordon very easily. They played just long ball after long ball, and that is why we got so much possession. we score the penalty and it’s 0-2/3. We were lucky against Southampton, and unlucky here. Barnes was starting to be quite tired. We had goal line clearance, penalty and a breakaway. Should have won.
  13. We created quite enough chances to score 2-3 goals
  14. We should have won this. But performances are getting better. Tonali improves us a lot.
  15. It was just reported by Liverpool fans that Luis Diaz's "verified" salary is net after tax sum, because of translation error from the portuguese newspaper or something. So yea, maybe not the most trustworthy
  16. According to understat, only Fulham (who created a lot transitions and should have scored) xG against you were clearly less than 1,29. Brighton: 2,14 Liverpool: 2,10 Southampton: 1,36 Palace: 1,67 Tottenham: 5,41 (average 2,53) Your attackers are not scoring, and you are letting a lot of xG against.
  17. This whole ”civil war” is boring and media stirring it up. Or course DoF evetually wins, but if we have a good season nobody talks about this.
  18. So you mean dangerous, possibly career-ending tackle is not a red if it misses the player? Of course it is serious foul if you go for the ball like that. It would be suicide for the opponent to challenge for the ball. to be honest, that kind of tackles are very rare these days compared to 20 years ago when I started watching PL. They were never red back then..
  19. ”Eyes on the ball” must be the worst explanation ever. What does that matter?
  20. Our defence is going to hammered by better teams. To be honest even today we could have got something out of this.
  21. These problems are not about individuals that start. The system Howe insists is too easy to play against at the moment.
