Amad should be wingback in that system. He really isn't very good playing more central.
-
He won against Burnley (4th game). But during that spring, we won against Everton, Leeds, Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton, Southampton, Wolves, Leicester, Crystal Palace, Norwich, Arsenal and Burnley x2. That is 13 wins. How many you got with Amorim in the league with a lot better squad? I think that is a bit different than first 6 months for Amorim?

As a rule, you shouldn't trust these sources. Most likely they are guessing. But yea, not important.
-
What are these tier 1 sources? Please don't say Capology. And it is not important, but the wages really are not public.
-
If these are from the accounts. shouldn't ALL the players' wages be 100 % certain? You can see every player's wage if you can see the actual accounts.
-
No one really knows the wages mate.

Newcastle United vs. Everton: 25/05/25 @ 16:00 (No UK TV)

Thank god Viaplay shows every EPL match in Finland. Cost 45e a month so pretty pricey imo. So this should be on here too. -
Bruno's shooting is a bit shit. Everyone who watches games sees this. He doesn't have a thunderbastard in his locker at all. Actually you can see that even long diagonals seem like a stretch for him. He is a street footballer and just doesn't have the technique. But his shooting is pretty accurate though.

Murphy and Burn certainly are not untouchables, but most likely the offers we would receive means we will not sell.
-
Nope, he is older. IIRC 1988 or 1987

Ronaldo has most international goals of course, followed up by Messi. Third is legendary Ali Daei. A) Who is 4th in that list with 95 international goals? He might still catch Ronaldo (136) and Messi (112) goals, but given that he is already 40 it seems unlikely. He has scored 5 goals this season playing in the top league in his country. B) Who European, born in 1993, could also catch Messi and Ronaldo, as he is active player and has scored 88 times for his country?
-
Well, if you just select the numbers you wish, of course you have to look what the numbers tell you. This is like argueing with my 4 year old. If Sancho had scored 25 goals this season and 22 of them came in UECL against teams like Djurgården, would you say that "yea but he scored a lot, why do you ignore those goals outside EPL?" No, you would say he scored agaist minnows. Marc Guiu has 6 goals in European 6 appereances for Chelsea. What a season! Goal a game! Dewsbury-Hall has 4g in 12 games. Great stuff for a midfielder! Garnacho has not had a good season. You can of course twist this as you like. He has played most games from your front 3, and has 6 EPL goals. He has scored less EPL goals than Amad, who was injured for a long while. So by this logic Diallo has had a great season? Player's season certainly is defined (a bit) by how his team is doing in the league. Point is: Garnacho's value has certainly not gone up, he has not developed and if it doesn't kick on next season, he is going to be sold to team like Leeds for 20 million.

Yes, it would be great for Newcastle to win UEL, but not for Manchester United. Do you think with that expenditure and with those expectations winning Europa League gets you far? As far as I remember, you won it a while back and it didn't get Jose far... You seem to think like mediocrity would be enough, and maybe winning UEL or Carabao once in a while. You are one of the richest clubs in the world, winning (or even being in) UEL is a shame. It should be participated by clubs like Newcastle, Tottenham and Villa. And being "mental" about criticizing Garnacho: he has 6 goals this season in EPL. Of those 11g 10 a, 3g 3a in League cup against Barnsley and Leicester. 6 EPL goals puts you level with players like Rashford, Marmoush (half a season, Smith Rowe, Enzo (defensive midfielder) and Kovacic (DM). Hardly a great stat for someone with 36 appereances for ManU. He is winger whose only way to go past player is to run faster. I don't criticise Mainoo's performances, but the truth is he hasn't had a great season, and selling him now is not wise. Garnacho either won't be sold for 50-60 million like he was rumoured last year. They both, and your club, has had a bad season. That affects the price they move for. I don't want to start with Höjlund, because he is a championship level player at the moment. Dalot at least seems to try, but he is not a wing back. For the bold part: There is that one guy in Barcelona I hear who is pretty good. Even in the league Minteh who probably didn't know English before the season is doing better. Gordon is not an 80 million player, but he has had a bad season and has scored as many as Garnacho, while playing less. I am not responsible for what fans think, they always overvalue their own players.

You have to take into account the level. He is a "serial winner" and 300k a week player, who seems to be doing fine/great/ok in a second tier European competition. Good for you! He has been run around in the EPL again this season. Problem is Mainoo has to be replaced and he hasn't had a strong season. Garnacho has to be replaced, and he hasn't had a strong season. Selling them now would be idiotic. No one takes Rashford with his wages, maybe on loan. Anthony you probably cannot sell for PSR profit. For you succeed next season, Amorim has to be able to get more out of players like Mount, Garnacho, Onana, De Ligt etc. These are expensive players that you cannot really sell. Like I said, top6 next season is not realistic. Top 10 is realistic. I am willing to take a bet on this.

Casemiro doesn't have the legs. He has done ok in UEL games where tempo is lower. Year left on his deal, not going to get a new one so leaving on a free after next season. He is not an answer to anything. If he leaves on a free, you pay him huge wage for a year and get no fee + you pretty much have to play him with that wage. The thing is you have been crap since Amorim started and he is your best player after Fernandes doesn't tell a thing. Except the team has been crap. You need GK, right wing back, at least 2 midfielders, and a new forward line. Carreras gives you max around 25 million. Decent money, but if you lose to Spurs somehow you are in trouble. Had to check: Casemiro has played a part in 3 Premierleague wins since Amorim came. Wins against Leicester, Ipswich and Everton.
-
To be honest, ManU have quite a thin squad and if they sell someone (apart from Anthony or Rashford, neither will fetch a big fee though), most likely they need to be replaced. Midfield is paper thin and Eriksen leaving, Casemiro is being pushed out by fans etc. Top6 is too much to ask next season, especially if they get to Europe.
-
He does, but he really doesn't solve their problems and costs a lot.
-
For something like 50 million? Good player but really not cheap.
-
Liverpool have Van Dijk and Konate, City have Dias and Akanji.. Does Arsenal have 2 right footers also?
-
Just having a bad season. Not helped by the absence of Hall.
-
Well, would have been a bonus. Should have scored at least once first half.
-
Our bench really is awful

Update in this. Today FInnish FA decided that the team that made a parent club agreement, can still get promoted cause they really didn't know about the rules and no players were exhanged between clubs. And that it would be unreasonable to make them ineligible for promotion and the 7 clubs (out of 10 clubs in the league) who protested are opportunistic and should be ashamed Well, most likely other teams will take this to next level, cause it only costs 220e and Finnish premierleague place is worth aroud half a million..
