He has the skills, but has to learn how to shield the ball better.
  2. Does that include players out of contract?
  3. We are not selling that many players. Selling Wissa and Woltemade most likely is not an option because of their amortisation. Tino, Gordon, Willock at least I would guess are leaving. Murphy? Tonali? Who knows.
  4. 45 million for Joe Gomez. Sweet Jesus our recruitment needs to be checked for money laundering or something.
  5. If Bayern really has contacted us, which I doubt, then Gordon is as good as gone. He will push for that move and we will agree somewhere in the middle. Whatever that is.
  6. Kelleher is not good enough as a no 1 in long term. Better tham Ramsdale though.

Thing is, he was constantly asking for the ball between the lines. That is an area where we have no one and we only play through the wings. There is no point having a player who can create something like that, if our players are unable to play the pass.
  8. Either. But the bigger problem is that out players should not be afraid to play that pass.
  9. We have managed to find Woltemade twice between the lines, and on both times we have got a good scoring opportunity.
  10. Pope if he isn't off this summer I am done
  11. True, they must be training better. But for example Burn cannot kick the ball with his right foot, and almost everytime plays the ball either backwards or along the line. Tonali does a lot of running, but cannot weigh a pass. Osula is cheap tricks and running. Murphy is Champo level.
  12. Technical ability of our players, apart from Bruno, is shocking.
  13. Andre tackle was never a red. Feet were down
  14. We can't get him, and at the moment we really don't need him. Different story if Tonali is sold.
  15. Didn't see the game today, but hard to defend him anymore. Our form has not improved, and same problems persist. Thank you and goodbye
  16. Exactly this. We have no ability to break opponents through the middle, unless we win the ball higher up. Our wingers are not very good 1v1 (Barnes, Murphy) or fast runners and poor footballers (Gordon, Elanga). There is no one running to support the CF from midfield, except maybe Bruno, but he should also be initiating the play. So we need 2 Brunos. Tonali is not the biggest problem, but our centrebacks, who, by lack of belief or because of instructions, do not try to play through the lines. Thiaw and Botman at least both could do that. Then pretty much all our midfielders apart from Bruno (and maybe Miley) are not very good on the ball. We give the ball away way too much,
  17. My boss got his achilles snapped when we played badminton. Sounded like someone hit him on the ankle with a tennis ball or something, just a nice "snap" and he was ordered to not play any sports in 6 months. I think Ekitike will not be seen before Christmas.
  18. Don't really know should I ask for a selfie or shout insults towards him. Funny thing is, no one here would recognize him.
  19. Just a funny mention, but one of the best sports surgeons in Europe has a clinic one floor below our office here in Finland. Very often he posts photos to Instagram about the players he has operated ( Barcelona and AS Roma players, ter Stegen for example). I always hope to bump to some player on the elevator or whatever. Never fking happens Would be class to see Hugo there this week.
  20. Yes they did. And Klopp did burn out. But City, playing totally different kind of football (now changing a bit and not playing so much possession football anymore) has been dominating them (and winning more trophies). The point is, solution cannot always be more running, pressing and intensity. We are already giving the ball away so much and the games end up being chaos football. Exactly like Iraola has done with Bournemouth and games ending 4-4 and 4-3 etc. That is entertaining to watch, but we don't succeed by that plan for a long.
  21. He eventually burned out, and he had hugely better team than Bournemouth has. Bournemouth IIRC is top in sprints and distance covered, so their style is hugely punishing in the long term. I just think we need to go to different direction.
  22. It looks like Achilles for Ekitike.
  23. And then face the same problems.
  24. Please no to Iraola. Hugely intensive playing style and doesn't suit twice a week schedule in any way
